Thoughts on the kit?

I wouldn't be averse to something like this:

By the way, if anyone else wants to offend God with some hideous designs, this is the site I've used: https://appinsports.com/kit-designer/#/
OK, using that I've come up with something controversial that adidas never did. I call it red and white stripes.

Given that lack of stripes on back and sleeves have been complaints for ages it'd be weird to launch straight into something insane like Avec did. Start with something traditional, then there's plenty of variations of stripe width/amounts of black/patterns/holograms for future years

I haven't seen the final away shirts but the designs I saw a while back had a sash on the away kit and a black/gold 3rd kit (I liked the French UW kit a lot, as an aside).
Wonder if this means we’re re-releasing the 70s and 90s sash strips as part of the vintage collection?

I reeeeeeally would love the white and red laver away kit 🙏

Kit launch next week with all the United World clubs at the same time. (We have stripes on the back of the home kit).
It would be quite funny if they are all the same kit but just with different badges!

Blades home - r/w stripes, black trim
Blades away - purple with a white sash
Blades third - blue with red trim

Beershot home - purple with a white sash
Beerschot away - blue with red trim
Beerschot third - r/w stripes, black trim

Chateauroux home - blue with red trim
Chateauroux away - r/w stripes, black trim
Chateauroux third - purple with a white sash

😁

Not a fan at all. If you're gonna do it, do it red centre, white either side, black either side of that.

BWRWB pattern

I'm not a fan either. I like the Barca shirt, but it doesn't work in our colours.

I'll do a few of our recent kits and how they "could've" looked with a single black stripe.

I hate that sort of neck/shoulder cut on football shirts. Nike have reintroduced for 22/23 and it reminds me of some dreadful shirts from the 00’s and early 10’s.

The 22/23 Inter shirt is awful.

The thick black stripe looks crap. It’ll never happen but if we want our own unique look we should just always stick with a black pinstripe separating the red and white stripes. But obviously play about with it each season.

Having said all that. This is one of my favourite United shirts and it’s not too dissimilar. The stripes go up and above the neck though which makes a big difference.

Not sure if possible with those templates but I don't believe we have ever had Red, White and Black stripes with all the stripes being the same width.

I think that would be a novel one for a season.

Another original idea, a bit 'Avec' but messing around with the stripes, what if you had them but at say 45 or 67 degree angles for a change? A bit of a semi hommage to the Woody away kit with the sache.

You could also bugger about further and maybe make a hybrid between Croatia's kit and conventional stripes.

I also don't think we've ever done hoops. No idea which colours we'd use but I wonder if that might help some of the colour blind fans for an away shirt.
This was the closest, and I like this shirt:20220607_124439.jpg
