No. Not ironic, but quite wonderful in its own way.

Not Ironic, bloody miraculous bearing in mind the number of years that we have been classed as a hoofball team and the number of managers that have not been able to change the style. Its great to watch and hats of to Danny, this season has been a revelation.

Think how many of us on here saw this season as transitional or stabilising, yet DW has come in and transformed the squad without massive changes. Kevin Mac has been a massively good buy, we need to get him signed up pronto.

Isn't it the case that most good young footballers want to pass the ball around and show off their skills?

It's the coaches who stop them playing football for fear of getting beaten.

I believe it's very different on the continent, where skill and individuality are encouraged.

My point is that our 'hoofballers' probably started off as reasonably talented footballers when they were kids, so they have it in them to play decent football.

Pep Wilsonola has introduced some lovely stuff where we seem to pass , on the floor to players with our shirts on , dont know the name for it but its a novel idea

I'd give a lot of credit to the manager though, having witnessed those resources the season before.

Macdonald is no montgomery , he often fails to pass square and wildly finds forward passes to our players up front , we need to drop him immediately

You did. But what should happen isn't always what actually happens, especially where The Blades are concerned. In seasons 1979-80 and 1980-81 we should have been able to outclass most teams in this division, but we all know what actually happened.....
