Liam Shaw; George Hirst and Urhoghide - probably all available and probably all in our target age and price range. Shaw and Hirst in positions we are looking to recruit. Probably offer us a bit more mobility in the squad but are they good enough though??
Dunno, but I wouldn't be averse to trying them and then it really cements the S6 lot as a sort of trampy, local feeder club to us mighty bladesmen.

Was Shaw at Celtic?

A mate knows his family.

Not bothered about Hirst but wouldn't be adverse to the other 2 and we've done pretty well with ex-pigs over the years.

Isn't Michael Hector available as well? He didn't look too shabby on the rare occasions I saw him.

He was utterly atrocious when we dicked them 4-0 a few weeks ago but usually been pretty decent every other time I've seen him.

Certainly won't get the same salary as he was on at Fulham again.

A lump/stopper that makes Egan look like Maldini. He couldn't player RCB as he's not good enough with the ball at his feet so would only ever be a replacement/cover for Egan. I think he'll end up somewhere like QPR or Reading.

I wasn't suggesting we sign him JB 👍. There would be far worse options if Egan were to move on though. Not suitable for for anywhere other than the middle of the 3 either so it's a no from me.

He'll 100% end up at one of the southern teams like you suggest.

Shaw might be of interest. Not a guaranteed starter In league 1 last year though.

I don't know much on Shaw and Urhoghide, but I've seen a bit of Hirst. I'd definitely say he'd be a good addition, he's tall, decent in the air and can score goals that are not just tap in's if that makes sense. I think the stumbling block for any plans to bring in a tall striker is that we've still got McBurnie on huge wages and if we say goodbye then you just know wherever he'll go he'll score 20 goals again! Do we wait to see how he does when he's fit again which may be into August/September, or do we act before, I don't know!

The video below of Hirst this season and he looks decent, I know it's a short clip but there's some decent finishes in there.

His performance when we hammered Fulham was abysmal. Worst player on the pitch. Pub league standard.
Definitely ! MGW and Ndiaye between them tore him a new arsehole, the worst centre half I saw at BDTBL,proper bomb scare
