No wonder their fans behave like they do when their players also act like hooligans. When the Forest fans invaded the pitch after the game, Ryan Yates went over to United fans goading us. What hope is there for Forest when their own players behave like that?

Every now and again, certain clubs seem to assemble teams that contain an unusually high proportion of spiteful players. I recall Portsmouth having a team like that in 80’s; Norwich have had their fair share over the last couple of decades and, of course, Leeds seem to do it more than anyone - it’s almost as if the players take on the characteristics of the club at that place.

In Yates, Colback, Spence and Johnson, this Forest side seems to be in the same mould.

Either that or it could be due to them being a relatively young team, because their antics are certainly very immature.

That immaturity was obvious yesterday as United effectively ‘old-manned’ them for 2 hours and should really have come away with a 4 or 5-1 result. Bournemouth bossed them in a similar way in their match a couple of weeks ago.

And we’ve got one as well

if its on video him goading its an offence , incitement and a fan could bring a case privately if you were there be worth trying a fine of a couple weeks wages be worth trying for

I think it is immaturity really. He's a classic case of a player having one good season and it going to his head, despite them not achieving anything yet.

Yates goading us, yeah it's annoying and unprofessional, but it's not that big a deal in the grand scheme of things. We've had our fair share of players who've done that, Billy Sharp loves to goad the opposition, granted he gets some awful abuse from time to time such as Derby, but he likes to give it back too and I don't blame him there. There's a rivalry between us and Forest, it got heated last night and for Forest this was personal after we beat them in 2003 and they've not had any top flight football since 1999. That doesn't excuse their behaviour at times, but all in all, they've had their day last night; mark my words, we'll meet them again, maybe even next season and we'll have our days against them again. If it's going on play off history then Hudders are play off masters, Forest record as we know is poor.

So Yates can have his day, I look forward to our next encounter with them.

You mean like Mcburnie was last night ?

Half of our lot would do this and add to that Robinson trying to break toes and ankles at every opportunity (all for it) we can hardly complain

I was more bothered about him getting into the refs ear all night....horrible individual ....
