we may have been poor
we are desperately short of strikers
we are a goal bdhind
they have been playing well

but all we ask from the lads is give it a go
make us proud

never mind if we don't go up just don't let it be a damp squib of a game
get stuck in and. give them something to think about

Shakespeare couldn't have wrote it better..

Its them bloody fast counter-attacks that get`s me , Steve Coopers main weapon , not many teams can deal with it . They ripped a good Leicester team apart in the cup . If Forest go up top eight for them next year .

Not sure the comparison holds.

Shakes preferred rhyming couplets, and iambic pentameter. Now and then, when he fancied a proper workout, maybe a sonnet.

The OP is a modern sort, and prefers experimental free verse.

I’ve resigned myself to thinking about next season in the championship.… not gonna happen I’m afraid, with the injuries we have and had its remarkable that we actually made it into the playoffs, so looking forward to Hecky having a season with a fit squad, let’s keep the group together with a few additions and go for it.

The sad thing about all of this is, if we don't go up then I can see us losing MGW and Berge. Maybe an offer will come in for Ndiaye and Bogel too :(

Getting promoted would give us a real good chance of keeping all of them.

If we don't go up then a starting 11 next season which includes MGW, Berge, Bogel, Brewster, Ndiaye, Fleck, Egan, Fods, Basham and dare I say it, JOC.... would certainly be the best team that I can remember for many a year and give us a real good shot at autos.

Forest played Bournemouth a couple of weeks ago in the '2nd spot decider'. They were second best to them by quite a distance. They're not Man City or Madrid as some posts seem to suggest. True, they were better on Saturday, and will be favourites, but this is another day. We're still in it......

Only with a new keeper and replacements for their several loan players.

That he which hath no stomach to this fight,
Let him depart; his passport shall be made
And crowns for convoy put into his purse:
We would not die in that man’s company
That fears his fellowship to die with us.
This day is called the feast of Crispian:
He that outlives this day, and comes safe home,
Will stand a tip-toe when the day is named,
And rouse him at the name of Crispian.
He that shall live this day, and see old age,
Will yearly on the vigil feast his neighbours,
And say ‘To-morrow is Saint Crispian:’
Then will he strip his sleeve and show his scars.
And say ‘These wounds I had on Crispin’s day.’
Old men forget: yet all shall be forgot,
But he’ll remember with advantages
What feats he did that day: then shall our names.
Familiar in his mouth as household words
Harry the king, Bedford and Exeter,
Warwick and Talbot, Salisbury and Gloucester,
Be in their flowing cups freshly remember’d.
This story shall the good man teach his son;
And Crispin Crispian shall ne’er go by,
From this day to the ending of the world,
But we in it shall be remember’d;
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne’er so vile,
This day shall gentle his condition:
And gentlemen in England now a-bed
Shall think themselves accursed they were not here,
And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
That fought with us upon Saint Crispin’s day.

Only Dropped one point at home to Stoke with ten men , this year , , also beaten Arsenal and Leicester in the cup. They only had 30% of the ball beating Swansea 5-1 , we need a pretty smart plan to counter that form .

I am thinking the same.

They will need to spend some money, because there's no way they'll finish top 8.

They are certainly equipped to make a go of it and out of all the teams I have seen this season ( all ) they look ready for the step up .

To quote a former manager

"We've a great set of lads who never know when they're bit"

"Just go and enjoy it. But enjoy it by being better than them"

We will win tonight!
COME ON YOU RED AND WHITE WIZARDS!!! ⚔️
