Forest will be nervy but only if we make them nervy there is no point going gung ho like Saturday as that didn’t work we need to stay in the game till the second half then the city ground will become very nervous , Steve coopers face will be a sight to behold if it’s 0-0 with 20 minutes to go

It’s been shown over the past two matches we cannot out play forest they have better players and have a better team set up

I would go with a flat 3 in midfield as playing Norwood on his own with fleck leaves is too open

And for the love of god stop playing Ben Osborn the bloke is so far out of position he may aswell be stood at first slip on a cricket pitch

I would play small Ben at left back as Enda looked knackered and injured on Saturday , Ben Osborn is much better than RND imo

Have to agree that Dame Edna looked well out of his depth so needs swapping out. I'd go with RND though. Johnson said he was his toughest opponent this season - not sure if he was bluffing though

Berge needs to play further forward.

Basically a similar formation to the 5-3-1-1 we played earlier in the season when we battered Swansea(?), but with Norwood playing as a deeper lying DM, pinging balls about, putting in tackles and disrupting their play.

We need to actually play with a back 5, not a back 3 like we did in the home tie, it was suicide against their front men, and RND plays imo, much better defensively and proved he can keep Djed in his pocket earlier in the season

Problem we have at left back is that Spence brings height and pace.

Not sure we have enough of either but of you saw Osborn against him then your eyes would light up. It would be easy diagonal balls all day long and crosses from the left to the back stick. Isn't this how Birmingham scored on the first game of the season.

That's the issue anyway. But options are limited. Enda is tall but you may as well toss a coin as to what you'll get in terms of performance. Norrington-Davies I thought struggled a bit against Spence. Robinson might be the best to play against him and just rough him up a lot but then you need a new left centre back.

No perfect solutions. Just don't play as bad. Play more Fulham or QPR and you're in with a shout.

I don’t think anyone can stop Spence blokes a monster

I’d say enda is our best left back though I just think he looks knackered when he is on his day he is very good

RND I don’t know I haven’t really been impressed by him at all best you could say is he is solid

Osborne is a good player , i think he could do what fleck does and maybe even better when Hes playing as Jimmy

He has been sold down the river playing out of position he would be perfect playing where fleck does

Baldock at right wing back, worried about Osborn at left wing back solely because of height when marking set piece. Would choose Enda over RND.
If we learned anything from Saturday, it should be that the second half tactics of possession, pass and move are the way to go. Try to break the flow of the game as much as possible and play for set pieces, long throws. With only one goal in it, anything can happen.
