I’m usually not one to be bothered by such things but I have to say, the commentary was that one-sided it was hard to ignore. Everything from a Forest perspective. The way they were hyping up everything they did was really making my piss itch. Granted, this could be me looking to vent my frustrations.

Can't comment on Sky, so please don't think this was an attack mate.

But they have always ( and sometimes it's is) had s pre arranged narrative so that there are " talking points" after the game.

I thought we were far from dog turd, forest we're better but there was no space at all, it's not surprising that when they attacked on the counter that they were a threat. Yes they missed chances but we have them problems particularly early on, well cause them some problems at their place, this tie is far from over.

As for sky commentary, I couldn't care if it was biased, I can't stand sky anyway full stop.

No issue at all with media love, but commentary has to at least attempt to find neutrality. That wasn’t the case today and it bugged me for once.

Didn’t hear commentary as was at the game but trust your opinion of it, apologies, but was just trying to make the point that we also had our fair share of media bias including commentary.

I'm sure Goodman said forest were very lucky with the penalty decision early on

Goodman kept insisting Forest were dominating the first half when they were really just counter attacking really well and having more shots, even when they had stats on the screen showing we had more possession and the action areas were fairly even he insisted they were even more dominant than the stats suggested.

In the second half, he claimed Forest wouldn't be happy as they were giving the ball away far too much and letting us dominate, after about 2 minutes. He's not that biased, just shit and only works on one extreme or the other for people dominating, even when that's not really the word he's looking for.

Everything he says is exaggerated and he has the old-fashioned Sky bias to whoever is closest to the Midlands like Gary Birtles always had when he was the main co-comms for the second tier. Forest having chances with every attack in the first half was just a perfect storm of bringing out the worst of him.

Unfortunately I couldn’t get to the game and I had to watch it on Sky yesterday. Clearly Forest had the better chances than us in the first halt and were more threatening however the actual stats weren't that damning.
Just before they flashed the stats up on screen Goodman said something like ‘forest have been superior to United in every single way that half’. Up poppped the stats which didn’t reflect that so he beat a hasty retreat saying ‘er.. even if the stats don’t reflect it’
He’s a full weight cunt when we are on. I know we like to think that everyone has an agenda against us but he was literally wanking over everything they did.
Get some better Co comms please sky. What’s the choice Hendrie, Hinchcliffe or Goodman? Fuck me….
