Not sure what you've read but that's not true.

Season ticket holders can buy now.

Members (it's not possible to be a member and not have some points) can buy on Monday morning.

Available to everyone with a purchase history (ie must have some points) from Monday afternoon.

I stand corrected. Cheers

Made a balls up on my phone and managed to book the row behind our usual seats! So anyone on SS G Block Row K who can't get their usual seats, I'm very sorry.
Ffs I booked wrong stand John street instead of South stand too late to change one tkt per customer

Same for me, and I have been a season ticket holder for over 45 years and it seems I cannot get a ticket, it is crazy.

Why does it say "This event is no longer available for sale" after I've chosen the seats?? It won't let me click on 'Add to basket'

You need to log into your account to buy the tickets, it doesn’t automatically log you in. I had it earlier with the same message, logged in and it let me choose the seats then.

Cheers, yea I thought I was. Anyway all sorted now and tickets bought.

Log in first. Then join queue to purchase. Any linked accounts will then be available to buy together.

Oh and apologies to the kopite regulars who's seats I've just bagged (Westfield Cornerer)

I assume ticketing rules for the play offs stipulate a certain number of tickets unless agreed by both clubs. To fulfill these requirements and separate fans the BLUT is the best place to put them.

is that where they were in the previous play off semi final, you know the :—— oh my god !

I had tickets behind the goal at the kop end for that game. When t'owd Des ripped the back of the net off with that header I was only about a foot away from it. Happy days.
Still a shit decision to give them BLUT

Mine are in the onion bag, 25 minute wait but emailed when I was top of queue and bish bash bosh.

Don’t think it’s a rule that’s driven this decision . The rule state:

3.3 The Visiting Club shall have the right to claim 2,000 tickets for use by its supporters (or such number as represents 10% of all tickets reserved or otherwise sold in advance, if less than 2,000).

So a 30000 capacity equals 3000 away tickets - which is the capacity of bramall lane lower.

They’ve reduced the capacity to about 25000 with this decision as it’s the United fans and team that will miss out

There were
I think this is a sound decision Away fans will have less influence on players/ref/game from up there. While we can have blades in the Lower Tier to provide good vocal support at that end. Yes it means a smaller crowd but revenue wise all ticket money from this game is a bonus

Advice to season ticket holders.. if you pick your seats and are not logged into your account, you will get an error saying the event is no longer available for sale. Make sure you log into your account and try again, as long as your customer number is linked to your account, it will allow you to buy your seats

Again, make sure you are logged into your account, with your customer number linked otherwise you won’t be able to purchase your seats

Agreed, its a crazy decision that must have been forced on the club by the pigs down at the council (sorry SAG), or the Police. I was only saying today how the extra 2 to 3k on the gate to bring it to a full house make such a difference to the matchday atmosphere.
Thats gone in the bin now for some weird and unexplained reason

Agreed - Public servants such as SAG should have to explain it to the Sheffield public then

That isn't what it says, it says 2k or 10% if this is lower than 2k

There is no reason to give 3k tickets that I can see. The uknown in all of this is of course SYP and the SAG, who couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery and may have "insisted" on this arrangement.

It would be very good for the club to clarify why given the issues this seems to have caused - and to confirm ASAP if this is a reciprocal arrangement with Forest.

You’re right - it is a max if 2k

Surely SAG have been consistent and fair in their decision at Hillsborough v Sunderland ref: Safety and segregation

Wonder why the sudden change to scrap the loyalty point system for this??? I can see a few Forrest fans sneaking their way into our stand. Completely opposite of when we played em at home a month back where you had to have a minimum of 150 loyalty points to even get a ticket
You can't get a ticket without an account.

Got mine at 3:17. 1 row and 6 seats away from my ST seat. I rushed and couldn't be arsed be precise.

It's got SAG written all over it I reckon. They've looked earlier this week at the two possible opponents being relatively local and put some ridiculous restrictions in place.
Doesn't explain why we've given Forest a higher allocation than we normally would if they were on the lower tier though?

Any reason they aren't activating season cards? I sit in the Kop but have had my card activated when I've bought a ticket in the South Stand before for cup games so that can't be the reason.

I can see it being a nightmare at the turnstiles because a lot of people won't realise it's mobile/print at home tickets only.

We only normally get 2k at city ground are they increasing our allocation there also ?

Correct the 10% refers to less than 2,000. So it is a mystery why we have given Florist an away allocation equal to 10% of ground capacity. Having said that we have club staff that didn't read the rules correctly when it came to signing overseas players!!

An explanation is required but as the current policy is radio silence on controversial matters then we'll have to wait for the whispering classes to come up with conspiracy theories. I can't believe the reason is in an effort to get an increased away allocation from 2k to 3k we have sacrificed the whole of the Westfield corner and part of the BLUT. It just doesn't make sense.

Irrespective of who made the decision the hand of SAG is influencing decisions. If we get the extra 1,000 from Florist you can guarantee the segregation will amount to a small section no bigger than a few rows at the City Ground. Yet no such similar arrangement will be made at BDTBL whereby we can sit in the WC segregated from the BLUT. Allocating just 2 sections on the BLLT will not make up for the total number lost in the BLUT and WC.

On field performance is being hampered by off field decisions. We need the ground to be rocking like to-day. Yet all this seems to do is dilute that. We have been allocating 2,750 seats this season for the larger followings in the BLLT. So for the sake of giving Florist an increased allocation of less than 500 we have created all this disruption, bizarre?

Got through after been on hold for 20 mins & got ticket in South Stand after been evicted from Westfield Corner where our ST are for

Bloody annoyed at this. Why should we be booted out of the Upper Corner? My son is added on my account but it wouldn't let me buy for him. It was ok for me to renew season ticket for him so why not for this? It said I had exceeded the number of permitted tickets and so I had to remove his before I could even get my own. He is out tonight so don't have his log in details to get onto his account so even if he gets one now it won't be with me. A bit like the midweek match v Millwall the other year when they closed the BL end to all home fans to let the small number of Millwall enjoy all the BL end. Pathetic.
