Maybe I don't know. Did that go for McBurnie too? Freeman etc. Point is he got slated for transfer dealings. What price Jack Robinson now? Anyway CW is the past.
No, I believe all the domestic signings were Wilder's. I'm not necessarily slating him FWIW, Bogle was a brilliant signing and you cannot ignore the players he signed in seasons prior to that. That said, I will always defend HRH when it comes to providing money and then cutting Wilder off last January.

I agree with that. CW wanted out. Jury's still out on Brewster but Bogle top signing if he can avoid injury.

MGW was MOTM today. He's the best player I've seen this season, including the opposition. He's absolutely carrying us.

Outside of him, Norwood, Fleck & Ndiaye we're all very good and Berge was excellent.
Wes also looked very comfortable in everything he did and Egan seemed up for it too.

Great team performance.

Might get slated but ( and I’m no fan) Ben Osborne played a blinder today credit where it’s due

Ben seems to excel at right back but struggles at left back. Which is bizarre really, as he seems to only be able to kick the ball with his left foot. He did well again today and he deserves to keep his place in the team.

Very, very good today. Looking like the player we paid the money for, but a masterstroke in the coaching team for finding this role in him.

His confidence was shot at the beginning of the season. He's now playing with full confidence and belief which has made all the difference, he finally believes he's the strongest and best midfielder in the championship. I love watching him playing, morseso with MGW and Ndiaye. I want to see them back together next season!

Very difficult for me to pick an MOM today. Thought this was probably Sande's best game but MGW outstanding, Ndaiye, and any number of other players great. Was Mitrovic playing? Spent the whole game (until subbed) in Egan's pocket. Loved the chant "You're just a shit Billy Sharpe"

Sander is class and showed anyone that understands football at any sort of level such today.

The above said, it’s a frustration that at 6’5”, he isn’t dominating matches physically in the way he really should.

Add that and he’s top end PL.

Wish he would sit down with T.C and watch his old videos and let him coach him he could become that good or god

He is only 24. He's being noticeably a lot more physical recently. He'll be some player at 28.

We’ve found something with him in the No.10 and MGW and Ndiaye up top. It worked against QPR, it worked again today. Berge dominated Seri out of possession and then the quality of that front 3 on the ball will cause anyone problems.

He's Norwegian!
He plays for the Blades with John Egan!
Back in the Premier League for next season!
He is Sander Berge!! . . . . . Etc etc.

Surely he deserves a big rendition of this adaptation next Saturday given how he's performed lately?!
He needs to feel the love!!
This raises the issue of our inability to adapt songs

Not only was this sung with the original Europe line today but we also had "we're not going to Wemberly" although apparently were are going up.

I hate to disappoint anyone singing that one, that going to Wemberly is our chance to go up this year

Feels like those 3 have ‘clicked’ and it’s an absolute joy to watch.

Berge was magnificent, coming into his own now,
the injury is behind him. Like the rest of the players, the loss of confidence hangover from last season's disaster has ended.

A lot of credit goes to Hecky taking the bull by the horns and giving Sander a role as a number 10.

For all the lazy talk of him coming in and reverting back to what Wilder did, that's a load of bollocks.

Latterly, and certainly while Sander has been here, Wilder's team was very regimented in approach which made us hard to play against due to the discipline on overloads but Hecky has the team encouraging a lot more flair from the current front players.

His moving of Berge to a no 10 role looks a master stroke and this isn't something that Chris every really tried; he was the right of a three or used as an alternative to Norwood. It wasn't something that Slav tried either with any conviction, maybe as a fleeting sub.

It really has turned a position of relative poverty i.e. missing four first choice forwards, to an exciting, eclectic mix that is hard to play against.

We can't really absorb any more absences and be relying on 2 game teenagers but I'm very happy with that front three. I'm not demeaning Forest at all, but I'm happier to face them minus Davies, who was outstanding in the last game and minus Grabban, who scored against us at their place.

Having Billy back gives us another dimension but these three have shown us a way forward which is unexpected and more than welcome.

COYRAWW!!!

This thread proof positive a lot of fans know fuck all about what a good baller looks like !!

Or simply that a player who has strugggled to perform is starting to perform.

Taking 2 1/2 years to do so whilst we were relegated isn’t exactly vindication.

Either way the turnaround is great to see.

From what I saw on Saturday I think Sander Berge would be a perfect fit for the Fulham squad. £40 million?.
Thought he actually did look like a player we paid all that money for.
He will turn out to be some player, unfortunately not for us.

Probably just a coincidence but McBurnie needs a new watch and wasn't in the team on Saturday. Not sure how fast he could run away though considering he's on crutches. That said, he was never that fast beforehand.

That’s terrible. Hope he’s ok.

Just wondering can we have a whip round. 20,000 fans contribute £5 each. I think he deserves it.

Awful for Sander Berge. I hope.he and his family are OK.
I don’t get why Footballers don’t have somewhere secure to keep their valuables, its pretty obvious that their properties are going to an attractive target for burglars, how hard can it be to out manoeuvre a couple of smack head chancers?

A ground safe, CCTV and a burglar alarm should suffice, you don't leave £100,000 of jewellery in your sock drawer FFS?

Who needs 4 watches?

McBurnie had a similar situation.

Terrible what happened though. There's some right scumbags around. Bring back the birch! (And I don't mean Alan Birchenall).

Who needs 4 watches?
People who like watches?

I'm in no way well off, but I've got a good 10 watches (can't remember without checking).
Different watches for different occasions. Day to day watches, going to the pub at the weekend watches, more formal occasions etc....
The difference is mine are worth a fraction of what these will have been.

He's a young lad with an obscene wage, I'm surprised it's only four.
