GOAL Rangers 3-1 RB Leipzig (3-2)

John Lundstram
Ibrox erupts again!
Ryan Kent dinks a cross in from near the byeline and the keeper is flapping, only for Josko Gvardiol to head off the line, but only as far as John Lundstram, who gleefully slams the ball home.

Didn't like the way he phoned it in the last season and it's a pity we couldn't have cashed in but for some reason Wilder decided not to treat him and Duffy equally.

But after a slow start, he's really turned things around at Rangers to become one of their star men.

As much as the level is consistently higher in England week on week, you can't deny from a memories point of view, banging goals in against Dortmund and Leipzig is right up there when you think he was milling around in the third tier when we picked him up.

Got a chance to win a serious trophy now and whilst Frankfurt will probably be favorites, they've beaten two higher ranked teams already so they can go to Seville with confidence. Seville, not a bad away day for their fans either!

Done well to get fans singing his name.

Shows how poor football has gone when a league one level player, scores for a championship level team to get to a European competition final.

I have the same amount of interest in Lundstram as he did in United the whole of last season plus half the year before. Fuck all. The lad could land on the moon next week and I couldn't raise a shiny shit about him.

I dunno whether you are joking or not 😂

Lunny scoring the biggest Ibrox goal for 50years, into a Europa league final well done to the lad. He's a blade and always will be.

He was a Sheffield United player but never a blade.
A Blade will go an extra mile for his team mates and his supporters, he will live, eat and breathe our football club, they do not have to be good players but they have to buy into what being a blade means, he never did as his career at BDTBL revolved around him and him alone.

More like he's a greedy feckless disinterested prick and always will be.

Thought he was bigger and better than united.

A grade cunt in my book and nothing will ever change that for me.

It never fails to amaze me how some fans can work themselves up so much into a frenzy of hating someone so much

Nearly took us to Europe and now he is scoring in Europe because we bombed him out half way through the 1st season

Well done Lunny

Blades appearances 108; Blades goals 8.
Midfielder who scored once in every 14 games (basically 3 times a season) summed him up for us.
Flattered to deceive.

Stunk the place out last season with his attitude and his performances near the end of the season were disgraceful. I didn’t think he started the season that badly and you could argue he was one of our better midfield performers, Wolves error aside, although it was a low bar to cross. As a player, I don’t think he’s a poor as some people are making out, although I can certainly understand why he’s so disliked.
