  • We will not make the playoffs

  • We will make the playoffs, but lose in the semi final

  • We will lose the playoff final

  • We will win the playoff final

We’ll get 1 point from the last 2 games & miss out on 6th.

I have a hunch that if we do actually finish in the play offs come the last game we might just break our duck this year. Forest/Bournemouth, Huddersfield, Luton won’t be easy in slightest but I guarantee we’d ruffle some feathers in play offs. Of course it could all go wrong Friday. I feel positive this time when it’s not as expected we might just do it. 🙏🏻.

What is the point of getting to the semi and losing to Bournemouth who with their number 15 in falling over diving mode getting a dodgy pen,to beat us.
 
Ever the optimist,I'm going for a Blades Luton final with United winning 3-1.Goals from Norwood,Billy and Flecky.It is after all about time we won a bloody playoff final!

Yeah, that's why I specifically said in the play-offs.

Doesn't matter about the play-offs anyway.

It's always certain glory for the mighty Blades with you.

We'll probably beat Fulham 5-0 on the final day and pip them to 1st. Am I right?

Championship play-offs will probably get won by somebody like Morpeth Town cos it's all just random innit.
 
After last nights results I see Forest getting auto so if we get in it could be Bournmouth in the semi's, their luck V us can't last ............. can it? I bet the hotels are already booked up with pig fans.

don't be silly
I think we need to think positive to win anything
our problem is our fans negativity doesn't help.
We go deathly quiet and wait for the perceived inevitable. instead of encouraging
whenever we go to Wembley you watch fans. like Burnleys and wolves. screaming encouragement all 90 minutes but we wait to see how we are playing

We make it harder for ourselves with the total ingrained lack of belief like you display

Ah so it was the fans fault we lost all those play-off finals.

I always thought it was because the players were shit on the day.

I don't lack belief, I'm just not blindly optimistic like you.

There's no reason why we can't navigate the play-offs and achieve promotion this season but it won't be easy and we still have to actually secure a play-off place yet.

The play-offs will be won by the team that performs the best in the play-offs. It's as simple as that.

All your talk of randomness, 1 in 4 chances and just being due a win because of failures in the past is complete nonsense.

why am I blindly optimistic

I said at the seasons outset play offs were the best popssible outcome for us this season and a top 10 Id take as we readjusted
I am not saying we will piss the play offs but its a total lottery and one day our number may come up
personally not bothered if we fail as a season winning 24 26 games in the championship is more fun than hoping to win 11 or 12 in the pre, and a few draws to stay up
and score some more goals
The game with forest and the win at Fulham were of excellent quality
better than the draw at brighton or the games with west ham

we have been on average 11th in the championship for 50 years so if we go up its an ACHIEVEMENT but we should be prepared to settle back to our current level

From all those miles away, I’m not surprised that you’re personally not bothered if we fail.

I can shrug it off too, myself. More important things to worry about, and all that. But it’s harder to be simply “not bothered” when you invest so much time, physical and emotional energy, and (yes) money, turning up week after week to actually watch the buggers play.

get to 2 or 3 a season never miss a game on iptv
had 45 years following home and away and done over 100 grounds

im not bothered which division we play in is whats meant
once youve been to stockport on a cold wet night in div 4 to see us lose such as we are doing now is fantastic

I never said it was certain just its over due
we will at best finish 6th but thats still a chance to go up
sorry if it bothers you hoping for success

I find wallowing in past failures is utterly pointless and a waste of a life
lets agree I will enjoy the one day when we do finally win a play off
you in your own way can revel in your choice of being negative and miserable
and lapping up the I told you so s if we do fail

if thats what makes you happy,,,,
