Piggy Wilson - Out
Eeza Blade Sir Neil of Warnock - In

Walthamstow Out

No better manager at getting you up through the leagues. Top manager for me, who presided over some fantastic victories and comebacks. Engendered a strong feeling between fans and players and a bear pit atmosphere at The Lane.

I loved the fact that everyone hated him at other clubs; I couldn't give two hoots what other fans thought, it made rubbing their noses in it so much better. And big head he was, but players absolutely loved playing for him. Give me that over an insipid, no-mark twat like Robson every day of the week.

It amazes me people give him so much stick, particularly after the complete shit we've put up with since from infinitely worse managers (Wilson excepted).

^^ spot on ^^

None the less, that time is over. I'm enjoying it under Wilson right now.

Agree with the original post, get Colin back, I'm sure United could find him a vacancy selling pies or programmes, or better still cleaning the bogs on the kop.

QPR have now probably saved themselves from relegation, we should have done exactly the same in 06/07. Colin, totally out of his depth in the Premier.

Warnock is in the past, i'm more than happy with Danny Wilson, i think he is doing a great job, and i really have grown to like Wilson. To be fair at the current time i don't want any other manager than DW

I just wonder what Danny Wilson has to do to satisfy some people.

The fact that he was once employed / played for Wednesday means absolutely nothing! So was I a long long time ago. Being in Professional Football is a job. Being a Football Supporter is a calling. They are NOT mutually exclusive.

Look at Derek Dooley, out and out Wednesday player / manager / supporter, but did a great job for us.

Warnock is a Blade, and I respect him for his work for us last decade. He left and has had other employers as we have had other employees (Manager).

We don't need him at this moment in time, nor can we possibly afford him, in money, time, and style of football terms.

Please continue doing a great job Mr Wilson, and I wish you all the best Mr Warnock.

I came on this morning knowing there would be bollocks of this ilk on the forum somewhere.

There are plenty of others (football management types) who are currently out of work who frankly piss all over Warnock in terms of achievement and ability, yet not a peep about 'get him in now' regarding those gentlemen.

Show a bit of respect for the current incumbent, who has over-achieved IMO, and is slowly but surely turning the team and the club into something worth having some pride in. Carry on Wilson!

Piggy Wilson out ..... Blade Warnock in me

me and the boyz are with you Beighton.

Car park protest to let McCabe know???

it would take a good offer to get the adopted southener (who from what he's said since seems to feel getting out of Sheffield was the best thing he's ever done) I can't seem him working north of Watford Gap again.

Although the chance to tell the world how great LUFC are compared to us could tempt him into Ken's arms.

Can't see Ken giving him 7 years to get a promotion though or being too chuffed if he looks at walking out in the middle of a promotion season.

It's like looking back on an ex-bird and only remembering the good bits.

Yes, we had some of the best times under NW in recent years, but he's proved again he's not up to managing in the PL. (Memo to other promoted clubs? Thanks for getting us promotion, but we need a higher level of manager now?)

Personally, I think Fernadez has acted brutally but that's the thing with most foreign owners - it's just numbers on a balance sheet.

I expect Neil will add Vol. 2 to his memoirs and describe how he was 'deprived of funds' at QPR.

And whoever he manages next, guess what? They'll be 'the best bunch of lads I've ever worked with.'

NO NO NO.. under wilson we have actually started to play 'football' and i for one am pleased with the progress.. plus warnock is cringe worthy at times.. he's embarassing

Much as I love NW, while DW is in charge and doing what can only be described as an excellent job so far, the only time I'd wish to see NW at the Lane would be if he comes to watch.

Fookin hell. If you lot bent over we could call this board Toastrack for Wilson.

It just goes to show that football fans don't truly hate anybody and can be won over as long as the person is doing well for their club.

If we had appointed Megson after Adams and we were currently sat where Charlton are then tomorrow night against Yeovil you'd be hearing "Gary Megson's Red & White Army!" bellowing out from the Kop.

I'd rather admit to liking Danny Wilson than having even a passing regard for wanky fourth-rate pop "stars".

Behave, McAlmont & Butler were class.

PS I once mugged myself off in a pub in front of Bernard Butler.

"I rest my case, m'lud."

"Very good. Incidentally, how precisely dose one mug one's self off in a licensed hostelry?"

"No idea m'lud. Perhaps Darren's friend Jane may have some idea."

I think now that Warnocks proficient on a tractor he could come back as groundsman I suppose, but its a hell of a commute from Devon

Because NO Blade, I repeat NO Blade, would ever chant that mans name unless it was in a derogatory and defaming manner. Besides, look at what has happened with Wilson. Left swine cottage 11 years before we appointed him, never had any issues with United in the intervening period, unlike the man with a face only a mother could love. But look at the reaction it got. Megson, in my opinion, would not have made it to the managers office, never mind have us 10 points clear at the top of the fucking third division.

What if he brings in Gareth Ainsworth as assistant and Carlton as coach?

Chris Turner as Goalkeeping Coach and David Hirst at strikers coach. Ron Atkinson as Director of Football and Howard Wilkinson as Football Club Chairman.

That said, getting them all in one place would save on the Semtex. Swings and roundabouts...
