He plays deep midfield. On a good day we cannot afford to play a deep midfield player with no pace. But to play somebody who ballwatches on the edge of their own box and lets his man have an unchallenged strike from 19 yards is absolutely unforgivable.

He got us here - but so did Billy - he can’t be a part of keeping us here.

Think he is a busted flush, no pace looks like he is runnIng through treacle gets left for dead too often. His strengths of the ping pass and the dead ball delivery are just not happening and when he losses it in midfield we just get ripped apart.

Totally agree with you mate he got us there but like Duffy and others not a time for sentiment. Need to bring forward Berger in that role, get Flock down the left and Ampedu on the right with Didisy in the hole

Maybe switch to a back 4 as with the left of the team as it currently is we have zero attacking options coming from there and defensively look very suspect

Why does everybody worry about how people played? Big moments charge games. We need to stop conceding avoidable goals. It is not in Norwood’s chemistry to not think about the ball. Play him out wide for his crosses by all means if you have nobody better, but do not leave him in the middle.

I played there, and i was shit, but I had 2 metrics - nobody goes by me and nobody scores fron 16-20 between the posts. That way I was successful 2 levels above my ability.

we do not need Norwood taking the ball off centre halves and giving it back to them for them to try a pass.
we do not need Norwood pinging it out to wing backs who cannot get beyond their man
we do not need Osborn playing right side attack when we have ndiaye who is experienced in that role
we do not need mcburnie playing 30 mins when he is clearly injured
we do not need davies on the pitch when Robinson is a better centre half, not better footballer but centre half.
we do not need hourihane and Norwood in the same team
we do not need MGW trying Hollywood flicks and passes every time he receives the ball.

he has neither the quick feet or pace to beat and get beyond a player.
he puts in the occasional tackle, usually a foul when the guy has gone past him.

he is also really good at collecting the ball from the centre Halves or goalkeeper and passing to a defender who sometimes eventually recycles the ball To where it came from, if he can retain possession.

Absolute bollox- he was and is the only player we have who always shows for the ball- always willing to try and forward pass, never hides.

Hourihane - in comparison hopeless, never beats his man, always passes back to man that has given him ball or backwards- a cowardly player - that isnt fit to lace Norwoods boots.

I couldnt believe people slagging MGW off. He was the only player trying to be positive and make something happen. The rest did nothing going forward. He was playing along side players how were bloody useless today.

McBurnie went for an xray on his foot it ruled out a fracture so either soft tissue or ligament damage. Heckingbottom is hoping it is soft tissue and it can be treated. He took a hard tackle 20 to 25 minutes in he hobbled about after that.
If so why wasn't he taken off earlier. The training staff must have had a look at it at halftime surely.

He played a couple to Baldock today.

Also put 3/4 crosses in the perfect areas for us to show we can’t do anything with a free header towards the end.

You could say the same for the team as a whole. We’ve played well against Boro and in patches against Bournemouth in the last 10 games off the top of my head, the rest of the time we’ve been average to shit.
