I hadnt realised Brennan Johnson is David Johnson's son until I saw a post in here. Both have missed a penalty at Bramall Lane. David missed his penalty for Ipswich in the FA Cup 4th round replay in 1998.

Any more fathers and son have done the same?

Not father and son but both the Shaw brothers (Graham and Bernard) both scored penalties for United, though I wouldn't know if they were scored at the Lane or away.

I used to score goals on one particular pitch in yate near Bristol including some pens and a few weeks ago my son scored a pen on the same pitch.

Bernard scored a penalty in the 3-0 home win against Chelsea in April 1967 and in the 1-1 draw at Spurs in October 1967. Missed one at Sunderland in October 1967

Yes, Morris the younger missed v Bristol City in 1998-9. We won 3-1 and he scored twice. He was allowed to take the pen for the hattrick - it was the last home game of the season - and it was saved.

So both Morrises have missed at the Lane.
