I was unfortunately duty on the beautiful day, listening intently on my radio at HMS Sultan 'Car Club'. The sun was out and we were going up.

The fourth goal ... just look at the Blades over in that stand just erupt. It must have looked brilliant from that angle. It looked just like we had two sides to Filbert Street.

Best bit is the pitch invasion, and the tubby chap sinking to his knees, then prostrating himself at the feet of the celebrating Blades. One day we will all feel like that again.

And its Wilf. Wilf's got the zone. Are we talking corners?

A couple of years i borrowed that documentary off a mate, and i sat at home babysitting Brownie jnr, and whilst he was asleep i sat with a few cold one's watching it from start to finish, and the i'm not ashamed to admit that the final episode and the Leicester footage had me in tears.

A couple on notable points from that wonderful clip;

2 minutes 40 in - look at the disappointment of the blades behind the goal - you can just tell that they're disappointed with our style of play, itching for pinchy's total football.

3 minutes 12 in - alcoblade auditioning for starring role in "pitch invasions of the century".

:D

Oh happy days.

Thanks for that Pomps. On a personal level I missed it too. My dad a lifelong Blade died on his way home from the Oxford game on 14 April. This is the first time I have been able to watch that footage with absolute joy. Many thanks. UTB
