We won at home against Derby lost away so our points will balance out.

Some teams will lose points like Boro and Forest 4 points each

Not sure what the administrators are playing at, but if I was them, with a four week "extension" to a deadline, that was almost up, I would be speaking to the EFL every day, updating them on anything and everything.

Not sure on exact rules but pretty sure you don't magically lose the points uve earned from liquidated teams lmao 🤣

Yes you would, as if the team can't complete the rest of their fixtures, some teams won't have the chance to play matches for those points that we have gained and would only be able to play 45 matches. Hence all results with the liquidated team are void.

If the club fails to finish the season, meaning not everyone gets to play them, the results of their games so far can be removed from the record. That means if you beat them twice then you'd lose six points. Otherwise you'd have some teams play fewer games, or give out too many default wins.

What would you expect to happen to the teams who haven’t yet played them twice? Do they just get 3 points for free?

We'd still lose 3 points presumably, or are you saying they'd credit us 3 for the defeat?
Our balance would be zero as the three for the defeat would be added and the three that we won would be taken away…so we would stay the same. Teams that beat Derby both times would lose six and teams that drew and won would lose four

Correct

You think the game we lost we’d get 3 points for but the game we won we’d have them taken away?!

If you look at quite a lot of other football administrations such as Leeds, the administrators have no incentive whatsoever to resolve things quickly and a long drawn out stalemate enables them to bleed the clubs for as much money as they can whilst working out which charities they will stiff for any monies owed etc... . They (administrators) get paid first remember. They have already taken Derby for over a million

Everyone should have their results voided and be awarded 6 points.
What difference would that make?

If the results were expunged this would happen...

Fulham -1 point (drew at Craven Cottage)
Bournemouth unchanged (lost at Pride Park)
Huddersfield -4 points (won at home, drew at Derby)
Blackburn -3 points (won at Derby)
QPR -3 points (won at Derby)
Luton -4 points (won at home, drew at Derby)
United -3 points (won at home, lost at Derby)
Boro -4 points (won at home, drew at Derby)
Forest -4 points (won at home, drew at Derby)
Coventry -1 point (drew at home)

Leaving the top 10 like this. The PPG column ranks teams on points per game

when your getting paid £1.7 million to administrate then theres not much rushing

props to rooney and the players... not one of the top 10 got 6 points of Derby.. incredible achievement in light of their issues

We would lose the 3 points that we got for the Home win. We won't gain any points for losing to them. The result would be that we're 3 points worse off.

Don't get too excited, looks like someone's chucking them £2-5m to see out the season.

Home win we would lose those points...Away defeat we get those points back....so our points total would be unaffected
