Maybe I’m in one of my moods but I felt like posting this

1. Megson

I could watch him get eaten alive before my very eyes and not feel a flicker of emotion, his face makes me feel ill. Pretentious, obnoxious piggy b@stard and the fact so many of their fans still love him says it all.

2. Lee Strafford
Uggh, what a twat he was. He even posted a Churchill speech directed at Hitler before one of the derbies.

The epitome of a deluded, obnoxious dickhead wednesday fan.

3. Terry Curran
Yik

In the interest of balance. 3 you actually rather like/don’t mind

1. Paul Sturrock - nice bloke, albeit got sucked into the ‘massive’ rhetoric a bit at times. Still, perfectly likeable bloke.
2. Dave Jones. One of the good guys in the game
3. Darren Moore. Popular bloke in the game, seems sound enough.

Bad ones -
Carlton Palmer - always claimed they were better players than us. To be fair, he was probably right
Peter Eustace - claimed in the late 60s that Owls were the footballing aristocracy in Sheffield. And this from a bloke from Stocksbridge.....
David Hirst - Every time I got to the pie counter at Hillsboro, the lass said that Hirsty has just had the last one. This story may not be true, but sounds as if it should be.

Good ones -
Ian Hendon - so bad it really was funny. And I think he even scored against us once.
Roland Nilsson - Owls used to say he was the world's best full back, but Whitehouse and Hodges just used to take the piss
Ron Atkinson - He was funny as fuck. Was once asked what qualities he liked in a physio. He said 'The ability to stand out side the medical room with his back against a locked door telling the players to 'Fuckin well get out and play!''

Carlton Palmer, apart from his antics on the pitch, unbelievable and undeserved England call up,,saw and heard him a few times in Josephine's, more often than giving it the 'Don't you know who I am' chat up line to every lass that walked past him.

Strafford, uber typical deluded Wednesday fan

Megson, not enough space to comment!

The good ones, everyone that crossed the divide and played for us, except Curran !

Special mention for the Yank John Harkes, who most likely due to him not growing up with football fans/rivalry/aggro, was more than happy to chat to anyone about football, while Palmer was giving it the BIG I AM

The snortiest of the snortbeasts:

1. Waddle.
2. Sterland.
3. Megson.

The forgiven:

1. Kevin Pressman. Anyone that can stay calm after being told that they're not as good as Chris Woods must have something about them.
2. David Hirst. Controversial, but I chatted to him once and he was a sound bloke. Like Deano, he should have had more England caps.
3. Any of the ones who saw the light in the early 2000s (Morrison, Geary, Quinn, Bromby etc.).

Megson and Betts, for going out of their way to try and cause trouble for us. Including abuse of his position in Betts case. Also for being exceptionally ugly.
Third choice a bit more controversial, Madine, his spell with us too little and too late to undo the hatred he earned previously.

1. Kevin Pressman. Anyone that can stay calm after being told that they're not as good as Chris Woods must have something about them.
If you can have a soft-spot for a pig then Pressman's mine. Always turned up and played out of his skin against in derbies and seemed to take the dog's abuse he got off our fans with a footballing spirit. Can't help but have some respect for players that understand what football means in Sheffield and are loyal to their club. Still, hate him on principle.

I also give a pass to Des Walker because his last noteworthy contribution to football was scoring a goal for us at the Kop end. I know he didn't mean to, but you can't take that away from him.

Daniel Jones (Yes I don't remember him at Hillsborough either)

When I was a student I used to work in the petrol station at the end of Leppings Lane. I was filling the drinks aisle when a bloke in a Wednesday top walked up and asked me if we had any more cans of Coke in the back. I apologized and said he hadn't because I'd just done the delivery but said bloke proceeded to say 'Fuck off in the back and check don't you know who I am?!' - I had to say to him I didn't when he launched into a tirade of abuse about how he was a Wednesday player and I needed to show him respect. After he left one of the other members of staff told me it was actually their left back at the time Daniel Jones and that he was often a bellend to staff (I'd not been there long)

He also rolled around like a fish caught on a hook and got Higdon sent off when we played Port Vale at the Lane a few years later.

Other than him Hirst and Pressman, though I can admit the latter was a terrific keeper.

Hates :

1. Curran
2. Palmer
3. Rest of the fuckers

Likes :

1. Dave Grant (Lowedges lad)
2. No fucker
3. No fucker

1- - Megson.
I like the comment of Brian Clough who had Megson at Notts Forest and said." He couldn't trap a bag of cement.."
2-- Curran
Still remember him walking up behind Kenworthy and kicking him in the ankle while TK was talking to the Ref.! Nasty bleeder.
3-- Carlton Palmer
Total Retard.

Nicest ones I met;-
Johnny Quinn - Great bloke and a gentleman.
Pete Springett - .......... do............

Just had to google Daniel Jones because he's certainly one I've never heard of either. I was getting mixed up with David Jones who they also had more recently

Worst
1.Megson
2.Waddle
3.David Garrido from SSN - just has a very smug punchable face

Ones I don't mind
Father in law, Darren Moore, Kevin Pressman

Michael Vaughan escapes the list due to the 2005 Ashes series, or he'd be on instead of Garrido

Also found out that a guy I worked with for nearly 10 years supported them and he never mentioned it once! Can't imagine why!

I don't really hate individual pig players. Plenty of their fans I can't fucking stand though. Only one people will know is Vaughn
