Sander Berge Haters

Who is hating on Berge?

He's playing well now. That is exactly what we wanted and expected. We're all willing him on.

He hadn't been having the impact we wanted though, showing promise of what he could do without backing it up with a sustained contribution like he has the last two. He is capable of being a constant threat and he is showing that now.

My point was, let's not kid ourselves that he was playing well before this current stint. He wasn't.

Let's hope he continues to build on where he is at now. He seems happy in his role and having a happy player is half the battle.
👍Thats good,I get ya & understand what your saying & that Berge wasn't doing too well at times. It was more the likes to your post from a few usual suspects which provoked my response (think some of em can't wait for Berge to screw up)

If he carries on like this he will definitely be gone in the summer

You wouldn’t have placed anyone on ignore, because the sum total of people who’ve said he’s shit is precisely zero. If anyone has, I’ve definitely missed it.

Straw man alert.

I believe that you used the words ‘shite’ to describe him when discussing his time here. Did you mean he’s been shite but is usually very good or were you actually saying that he’s ‘shite’?

He's had some completely ineffective games and I'll be honest I'd given up on his showing the mental strength to turn it around.

Fair play to him though, he was great on Wednesday

I’ve made lots of comment on him (most of it negative, admittedly) and I’m sure the lowest I’ve got is describing him is “a bang average championship footballer.”, and it took two years to arrive that low.

I’ve no doubt I’ve described his performance as shite, both at specific times, and overall, because until of late, it has been.

You nail your colours to the mast and live or die by them. I've backed Berge from the off because of his touch, balance, calmness. He didn't, however, produce anything like a really decent all round performance until two games back, followed by his virtuoso performance on Wednesday. Injury free we'll see more of this. The difference between him and McBurnie are frightening considering the similar outlay.

Agreed. However, McBurnie actually started positively. He had a decent first season and seemed obvious he’d push on. He now looks like he’s lost every positive attribute that he had.

I'd agree he's regressed but I'd disagree that he hit the ground running. He scored a great header against Leicester and I really thought he'd kick on. He was okay in his first season but nothing better IMO. Covid yeah, injury yeah but still lacking for me, irrespective of price tag.

Nope. Currie is a wife beating child bullying cunt. A first class prick. A wanker of the highest order. A disgrace to sufc.
I could go on. 🙄
Why was he voted our greatest player?
Why was a stand named after him?
