The ref made some terrible decisions but it was Blackburn Rovers shithousing all game that was an absolute disgrace.

Been a long time since I’ve been so pissed off that I’ve left a game before the end. Finding out we’d won in injury time was little consolation.

Tonight is as close as I’ve come since VAR to packing in watching the games.

If a ref and the officials can’t see through the behaviour of a side to cheat their way through a game then the game has gone completely

What makes it especially ridiculous is the best referee we’ve had this season by a distance, Leigh doughty, was wasted as the fourth official.

When I'm thinking "we've got away with a couple" and yet at the same time the ref has pissed me off you know he's been poor. RND for the push into the boards, Robinson for the shoulder barge well after the whistle and Berge lucky not to get a second yellow almost makes up for all the crap from him from the rest of the game

Thought Berge was extremely unlucky to be booked anyway. From my view it looked a foul on him. Egan didn’t deny a goal scoring opportunity so the penalty is sufficient punishment

why don't you choose to list the events & decisions the ref made against us which were quite obviously wrong??
We should be professional & not get dragged into things but so many bad decisions against us affect and incite reactions from players (& also crowds, although the red and penalty were both correct).
Maybe a kick up the arse or similar was needed for our players to stop ambling about & playing without purpose after a bright start.

When 3 sides of the ground simultaneously chant "You're not fit to referee" and thousands stay at the end to boo you off, then you know you've had a honker.

The ref was terrible last night, fell for every trick Blackburn pulled, and single handedly created the feisty game it turned into.
