Think he deserves his own thread. His defending worried me at the start of the season but he’s improved a lot and he puts a phenomenal shift in whenever he plays. He’s made the shirt his own in my eyes.

I still need a little bit more convincing but he's done well in last few weeks

He was fantastic today had the same intensity as baldock if keeps it up it’s his shirt to lose

Maybe this is the player Stoke / Luton fans saw

Thought he had periods of extreme ordinariness - and periods of great athleticism and skill

He's doing really well and should keep his place - the coaches will help him in the weak areas as they are doing with the others (though McBurnie is slower to respond)

He's 22 and hasn't played a lot of football really in a settled environment.

Luton and Stoke definitely saw as did the Welsh management.

he also brings balance to the team - RND crossed the ball for Baldock - for the previous 2 games we've seen Baldock cut back on his right foot all of the time and that goal wouldn't have happened.

At this level we don't need square pegs in round holes and with Stevens and Osborn unfit, RND in this position, needs to work.

RND has had a smooth, unhurried progression in his career so far, with sensible loans and international recognition.

He is developing well, and ready to make the transition to regular selection as a Championship defender, and who long term should be a valuable player to the club.
