Sorry, but he didnt put a tackle in??
He seems scared to get in and win the ball!?
Fair do's, he can push forward and hes hard to get off the ball, but he also loses it and doesnt seem to try and win it back?, he doesnt make his presence known in the box eather, and his marking was almost non existent today........ only my view, but definitely not his best game in my eyes.

As I said, hes ok at pushing forward, but, whether his forte is or isnt tackling, it's pretty useful for a footballer, to be able to tackle, infect, I think he was the only player on the pitch, keepers aside, that didnt put in one sliding tackle.

Just a guess, but I bet you was a massive Nick Montgomery fan? Created FA but dived around with sliding tackles and really got 'stuck in'.

Is there any footballers that can really tackle ,tackling is so last century 😂

Not at all, I thought going forward, he was ok, showed strength whilst on the ball, cant knock him for that, just thought he couldve been a bit more aware of the space he left the players around him, and coudve tried to win the ball back better.
 
We won four nowt today and bossed all areas of the pitch and you're moaning because Berge wouldn't tackle? Get a grip, he didn't need to tackle, his time on the ball was mostly a joy to watch today. The little bit of magic first half where he wrong footed three of their players with a swivel of the hips was a thing of beauty. Enjoy him ffs, enjoy the day, finding something to moan about today is pretty fucking miserable.
 
Absolute class today, l posted at the start of the season that it would be interesting to see him playing as a 10 with freedom to drop deeper in the same way Manuel Pelegrini used Yaya Toure. His attributes suit him being higher up the pitch, incredible today, my Man of the match.

Not really, Sharp is a centre forrad, not a midfielder.
And Sharp did some very good defensive work, the sprint against their midfielder up the John st side, with Flecks tackle to win the ball was fantastic.

Typical backward old school mentality. I once played for an 11 a side team that went through an overhaul in the summer. I signed, and a good few of my mates who like to play football the proper way. Anyway, one of our first games at the start of the season we absolutely murdered this team tipped to win our league. Played the feckers off the park. This was all new for the manager and chairman as they previously played a very direct style of football with a bunch of kick it and run players. After the game, the chairman made a comment "reyt game that lads but no fucker put a tackle in". We found it funny but I made the argument that good pressing teams, Barca etc, don't need to fly in with a "comitted tackle".

I thought Berge pressed brilliantly today and won a good number of challenges against his opponent, sometimes even winning the ball then bursting forward on the counter.
