Who would you play in goal v Stevenage?

Well, it doesn't look like we're signing a new goalie before the game tomorrow. So, who would you play?

Long for me, can't drop him after just 1 bad game, Simmo has had several of late and Stevenage will be very direct, so I'd fear the worst if he started over Long.

I'd play Simmo. I've been a big critic and it's not ideal, but I don't think Long is ready, and we could do more harm than good playing him.

I have to question the sanity of people voting Long. Simmo has made mistakes for sure, but Long does not even look like a goalkeeper. He looks like a kid inbetween jumpers on a park that got picked last. I will have to seriously question the mangerial qualities of Wilson if he picks Long tommorow.

Long should start. We cant keep changing and destroy the confidence of our keepers.

Still feel he was only partially at fault for one goal against Exeter and hey, shit happens.

The sanity I question is that of anyone who can give up on a 17 year old goalie after one game.

I am afraid so yes. Because we have Simonsen, who despite his faults, looks like superman compared to Long.

There is no patience to be had, he is not going to age years overnight. He is far far far too young for a keepr and we will be doomed if he keeps playing him.

I think Long will be dying to right his wrongs from last week, but I've not got that feeling from Simmo who seems to produce the same level of flapping every week, so Long should be given the shirt, however, if he fails this week as well then we have a very big problem indeed.

I think decision wise they both look terrible, but Simmo is the superior shotstopper, not a bad advantage to have, so def him for me.

I will of course get behind Long tomorrow if he plays. What I say on a forum and how I act on the terraces are 2 different things. I am merley stating it as I see it. And I have seen better keeping performances on the field down at the local leisure centre. I should not criticise Long for being absolutely shite because he is young? Of course not. I should defend the indefensible!? I'll drink a lager to that la.

I can see both sides of the argument but I've finally plumped for Long as he's only cocked up once while Simmo's had many chances.
As others have said, if Long plays and doesn't perform well in this game we simply MUST find a loan keeper from somewhere.
