I agree with that but again that goes for nearly all of our players.

I think the frustration with Berge is that it seems as though he can be better than he currently is. That may be different from the rest of them at least.

I'm a Berge clapper but he seems to have low confidence in his abilities and has done for a while now - covid, isolation from his family and the long term injury have all had a big impact.

As he grew in to the game his confidence increased and he showed his good he is; Hecky needs to keep his confidence up and the doubters will gradually disappear.

I'm a berge clapper but until second half he was poor. Second half? Moments of brilliance. We need to use him further up field. Since he joined people said he was a deep lying player. Never ever.

This. He is never going to be a battling midfield player. I don’t give a stuff how tall he is, that’s just it. Play him in the 10 role please. When he breaks into the box, him and Bogle are the only players we have who make the goal line and cut it back - devastating. Get over his size. I’ve been critical but if he’s going to stay please play him where he can shine. Battling midfielder? Never

That's definitely what I thought aswell soon as he struck the pass,he was looking for Ndiaye,never once looked at/for Billy.

I really don’t see tonight’s performance as a reason to crow about his qualities. He was very poor first half, better for the next 20 and then good for the final 25.

Saying that, he should be playing every game as we need him to improve and become the consistently excellent player that we all hope he is.
