Davies - Compassionate
Fleck - Struggling with his Dr Jimmy/Mr Johnny split personalities

Few on twitter saying his wife has been diagnosed with terminal cancer.Awful news if true.Davies out for tomorrow “Covid” load of shit in my opinion. So that means we will have to watch Jack Robinson again tomorrow. Recruitment team have got their fingers up there arse, 17days in and still no defensive signing. Clubs a mess
From what I have read this is true but she was diagnosed some time ago, he may even have known when they got together. Still incredibly sad but not a reason for him to be absent now unless she has had a relapse (hopefully not).Few on twitter saying his wife has been diagnosed with terminal cancer.Awful news if true.

Not on the Grass? That will help with his munchies problemInjured
Had compassionate leave and only just back training (believe he was training yesterday while we were playing).
Injured
Had COVID, became ill, lost loads of weight. Needs building back up
Got injured playing Sunday League. Back in training but not on the grass
Well if it's terminal it's only ever going one way eventually. From what I have read this is true but she was diagnosed some time ago, he may even have known when they got together. Still incredibly sad but not a reason for him to be absent now unless she has had a relapse (hopefully not).
Our transfer window signings from the summer break down as follows:
Olsen - much poorer than his reputation suggested and about to be shipped out. Was injured at one point
Davies - less good than hoped, a combination of injury, Covid and possible compassionate leave have seen him miss games
Guedioura - played 10 minutes in the league. Injured almost from day 1
MGW - outstanding for this level, been injured for 4 weeks.
Hourihane - not injured but has been very disappointing on the whole.
That's bad luck mixed in with some bad recruitment.
He can all the time off in the world for me , some things are much bigger than football. From what I have read this is true but she was diagnosed some time ago, he may even have known when they got together. He won't ever look back on his life and regret not playing against Derby but he definitely would regret not being there for the people he loves when they needed him.He can all the time off in the world for me , some things are much bigger than football.

Absolutely. My reply was purely to inform the previous poster that it wasn’t a new diagnosis and hence that in isolation wouldn’t explain his absence but if it is in any way related to his girlfriend’s illness he should take as much time off as he needs.Surely some compassion is in order here
Official line this week is covid - https://www.thestar.co.uk/sport/foo...d-19-ahead-of-preston-north-end-clash-3530581
Takes down foderingham….Oh well. Looks like the the golden robot gets another start. Wonder what self-face-punching fuckup he makes this week or if he brings down Foderingham taking a goal kick.
I genuinely feel sorry for him. He's in an ever decreasing spiral of diminishing self-confidence, and that affects our performance.
