I'd agree with most of that.

I'd think that Berge would go only for a certain fee and you're almost relying on 2 year old videos from his time in Belgium to get that one over the line.

The rest are just taking up wages.

For the midfield we don't have to reinvent the wheel. Just bring back Coulibaly. It is the most sensible thing to do. If at one point Milan were looking at 10m for him then we aren't going to get better than that in this window. He may be injured but I think he is expected back for February.

Hourihane I think we will keep. He hasn't hit the heights yet with us but he was previously very successful under Hecky and I think he will see him as a steady hand who has been picking up of late.

There’s definitely some dead wood that needs moving on but in the same respect I hope they have a fire sale as we have in the past in order to lower the wage bill . With all the postponements this last month the games are gonna be coming thick and fast & along with that comes injuries/ suspensions .
If I’m honest I can’t really see us bringing anyone of note in and definitely not until they’ve moved some on & in such a short window that’s a difficult task.
It’s always been feast or famine with us and it’s the latter again now .

Apart from Burke leaving I'd be reasonably happy with nothing happening. We have a bigger squad than most and we are going to need it as soon we will be playing 2 games a week for the rest of the season.

I'd.only.offload the likes of McBurnie or Moose if we can get reasonable money as we are going to need them at some point with injuries and suspensions. The sides that end up going up will be the ones with the deepest squads.

Centre back is the one.place we do need to strengthen but I'm not holding my breath

I thought half the PL teams are looking at him plus half the Championship teams as well! So not much chance of signing him..
