Forum Footy Sunday 18th September

This is in General Blades Chat as it is an open invite to all.

For a few years, a number of us have been intermittently meeting on a Sunday morning to have a friendly, "non-competitive" game of football. It started as a way to keep in touch through the close season and carried on.

All age-ranges and abilities are welcome and the cost of the pitches are shared equally between those playing.

This week we'll be playing at Goals, Norfolk Park Road and the cost will be £2 each.
So, if anyone is free this coming Sunday morning and fancies a game, this is what you need to know:

Venue: Goals, Norfolk Park Road, Sheffield

Time: 09:30
Cost: £2 each
What you need: Trainers or astro-turf boots. No studs. Shinpads optional. A sense of humour.

Guests are welcome.

Please yay or nay for definite by Friday night if possible.

I'm usually running round after 2 hours while the young scrats lay down......this is of course subject to my calf muscles not twanging in the first 5 mins as is the usual.

I'll go. Been getting run ragged by the inhabitants of Biyadhoo island Maldives while on holiday ( fit as F***) 30 degrees heat so lets say their fitness was premier league. Also from now on 3 of them will be proudly wearing Blades shirts while on the pitch. Would love to see a pigfans face on holiday in the middle of nowhere and he sees 3 Blades shirts on show!
