Before my time but wasn't Colin Grainger known as the "singing winger"?

Danny Wilson had a big hit with "Marys Prayer" before becoming the Blades manager.

For some reason, I vaguely recall Franz Carr doing something musical.

Chris Kamara has a sideline in impersonating Lionel Richie.

Admittedly it was before he was at BDTBL but Terry Curran had a local 'hit' with singing the blues whilst residing at swillsborough.

Ooh, Trevor Hockey recorded a song whilst with Birmingham, didn't he?

He was on Calendar playing the piano. There is a photo of him talking to Richard Whiteley in one of the Lane Line Up programmes in 1971

Three Norwegian ex-Blades sing along here:

Fjørtoft has done a few more, but they're not worth searching for, the above is the good one...:D

It was called "Happy cos I'm Blue".

Nigel Spackman appears on the "Anfield Rap", of course.

I'm pretty sure Vinnie Jones had a album out a few years back too. Needless to say its not in my collection.

He was also in Foreigner. And wrote for the mid 80s band "The Latin Quarter". And I think he is an American Rapper, too.

As a sidenote, my mate's Dad is in fact Mike Jones, who wrote The Latin Quarter's minor hit, Radio Africa. For years, his royalties were sent in error to Mick Jones of The Clash. Who apparently never noticed.

£18.95 from new! fook that....

It got a decent review though. ''This is the greatest album I have ever heard. Vinnie Jones makes Gandhi look like a child pornographer.''

£1.47 secondhand though (alright £2.73 including postage).... you know you want to! ;)
