Is that the same goalkeeper who kept 3 clean sheets in a row, the first time we done that for about 3 years? Just checking.
Fans do this all the time. It’s three games, a ridiculously small sample. Were you one of those calling for Jebbison to run the show in the championship because he scored one tap in in the Prem?

Brewster has scored twice in his last three games - does that mean he’s now our best striker?

If you rate Foderingham then fair enough, but sarcastically using a three game sample in which he’s had very, very little to do holds no water for me.

He isn’t good enough to play for Sheffield United.

I hope to goodness that Hecky is all over this particular weakness we have - Davies is NOT the answer + needs sending back in January + replacing with a physically dominant CB in the mould of JoC
Every chance that West Ham will be buying Davies in January. Which is a shame because if he had a physically dominant CB alongside him we would be playing to his undoubted strengths.

Berge needs to be involved for sure, needs to put himself about as well, can see sharp starting this one, we should out-football them but got a feeling we’ll concede at least 1 with their big donkeys a threat from set-pieces.

Our record with Foderingham in the goal in all competitions this season is:

P7 W3 D3 L1 GF 14 GA6.
4 of the 7 games were clean sheets.

Of the other 16 games, we have had only 3 clean sheets, one eech for Ramsdale, Verrips and Olsen.

Our of interest, what sort of sample or record do you need before you accept him?

I don’t have a set sample in mind, but it’d be more than 7. We’re better defensively, changed formation, played poor sides. Yes it’s impossible to do better than a clean sheet, but he’s so dodgy.

surely you accept he makes some howlers, particularly with his feet. He might improve but currently I think we should be aiming higher.

I have a fear that Cardiff will implement the same tactics that WBA did in early season, that is out muscle us and bombard the penalty area with launched throwins (Vaulkes) onto the heads of Moore and Flint etc,if not throwins then freekicks.

Would anyone care to allay my fear.
Long throws only worked for WBA because they used a towel to dry the ball .That towel has deemed to be of illigal materials and is now banned by the Football League

This will be the game where by full time, many will say 'Ah, that's why Foderingham has not been playing!'

I can only think of one bad one this season where Basham played it back to his right (weaker) foot last Sunday. There was a couple of occasions where he was shut down and it got a few oohs and aahs but each time he found the man. Was that a risk or confidence in his own ability? Sometimes you have to do it to open the spaces against teams that are sitting deep.

Also worth pointing out that record this season included the cup game against Southampton. Excluding that we have taken 11 points from 6 games. Thats pretty ok for a struggling side.

This will give us a bit of insight to Hecky and his management team. We need proof they have more than, run, close down and recover the second ball game plans . We need to see how they perform tactically and if they’ve got the knowledge.

Flint, Vaulks and Moore on bench 🤔

Going exactly to plan so far

Clearly hasn't been banned, Cardiff used towels to dry the ball all game...

So let me get this right...we start with our worse striker because they have a long thrower..ffs..so glad you aint our manager

Good win today, the man sent off cost them though. I think they’d of got a result with 11 on the pitch. But 3 wins is extremely positive

Another absolute clanger from Foderingham. They will keep coming, he is not good enough to play for us.

Gosh you've been sat on the edge of your settee a long time waiting for that mistake weren't you. I can imagine the conversation at the Christmas dinner table "It's going to happen I tell you". So 9 games in and a mistake that had no bearing on the game. Unlike Robinsons "pass". Or Didzys miss. Or Sharp's misses. How does that rate against Deano's ratio of mistakes?

Mate we just disagree on a goalkeeper, don’t take it so personally.

The Foderingham bashers will have been wiping their cocks for hours yesterday, it's pathetic.
