He fannied about with CW for way too long, should have bulleted him 8 games in last season

This time he saw the car crash coming and dealt with it accordingly

I wouldn’t have picked Hecky misen, but he amassed almost as many points in the last few games as CW did in 2/3rd’s of a season

Sometimes it’s right place right time, that’s what happened with Wilder, maybe it’s the same for Hecky

Jury is still out for me regarding Berge. Good in a straight line but the turning circle of an oil tanker and he keeps exposing midfield not getting back in position.

You have to laugh at how some fans allow their agendas cloud their judgement.

Already seeing people who said the Blackpool performance was shit waxing lyrical about today.

Very similar apart from that we managed to convert.

Apart from pushing the wing backs further up I saw little difference to a few performances so far.

I like Hecky and if the players are happier with this change then hopefully we see an improvement.

I'm still of the opinion that whilst we're capable of a bit better than we've shown so far, we still need a couple of players in to elevate us playing this system.

Personally, I thought there was a world of difference between the display today and the one against Blackpool. I don't think we won a single 2nd ball against Blackpool and the desire from the team today was so much more clear to see. Much quicker tempo and more balls in the box earlier. 22 shots today, just a few more than we managed against Blackpool.

Still, everyones entitled to their opinion I suppose.

Well Slav got 23 pts from 19 games playing a system that didn't suit the squad although that's been kind as I reckon his last 2 games he was instructed to play 3 centre halves and the decision was made after the Blackburn game to make a change before its to late as we have already invested millions in this current squad of players who are good enough to be in a much better position. In my opinion i'm certain this change will improve performances and results . I'm sure we will have more than 46 points after 38 games maybe let's judge then ? Utb

He didn’t start, but he proved if he gets the chances provided for him he’s still the best goalscorer available

Any win at this level and against a NP (a pig, but respect him for what he has done in the game – played top level, won a cup as captain and managed top level) team, young or not is a good win.

Well done to the current manager and his staff and more importantly the team.

This will not however change my mind on the manager (as stated previously) and even the previous coach got wins against teams below us, so we will all see shortly just where the team (management included) are after some of the next few games (QPR, Fulham & Boro, which will give us more of an indication).

The fans giving it the big one recently/now have got their day in the sun, but also need to realise that it works both ways, and IF we get turned over against the better sides of the division, then criticism should be rightly stated/voiced as well.
