To play devils advocate, been from Barnsley and played for Wednesday not that big of a deal imo he’s had quite a few clubs. He’s still a young ish manager seems like he knows his stuff when he talks in his interviews and players seem to get on with him. At Leeds he took over Thomas Christiansen’s team so was dealt a bit of a bad hand as they had Bielsa lined up season after. Don’t know much about his time at Hibs but did okay at Barnsley so hopefully can learn from that and he’s a manager on his way up (hopefully) at just 44 years old. 4 and a half year deal wouldn’t look too much in to if he ain’t good they’ll cut ties and his contract won’t be know where near as much as Slavs. So far he’s doing okay. I think they thought Slav would bring instant success but clearly didn’t work that’s the only thing I can think of the boards decision.
