John percy on twitter. He is legit on stuff..

yeah but lazy OP post. Will await confirmation.

If this is an acknowledgement that promotion at the first attempt isn’t possible so he’s going to properly structure the club behind the scenes for the long term then so be it. If it’s another fall out between ownership and management then it raises serious concerns

It’s almost gone about as bad as it could have to be honest.

but that said it’s mental to sack him now when he’s really not been backed. We didn’t get him wingers it a defensive midfielder and expected him to deal with busted flush’s of players and a mismanaged bloated and frankly not fit for purpose squad.

Absolutely no confidence in who we will bring in now - sacking him is the decision of an amateur owner

I've always thought there'd be a mutual parting of the ways. He'd left the difficult managing behind to semi-retire in the Middle East and this is about as difficult as a job gets. Always a bad fit

He's had virtually zero impact on the club, we've had to go back to grinding out results with extra defenders.

Really not a big deal

Except he'll be due a large payoff under the terms of his contract unless we somehow wrote performance clauses in that our ineptitude has triggered, further diminishing the available cash.

Had high hopes for him but he's not exactly done a great job and it wasn't like the signs were particularly good either. The football has been uninspiring and clearly he wanted backing in January to sign some expensive players on loan. Have had zero sense of a squad being built for the long-term here. We don't have the money of the likes of Fulham to go up that way. Annoyed that we'll have to spend a fair whack paying him off, and feel even more depressed about the Prince's ownership of our club and where we're going, but on its own as a decision I'm a bit 'meh' on it.

Neil warnock has spoken to the club in the last few days.
