Important point made here by his Bertship. Football fans in general get a really bad rap. Incidents like this (while it would obviously be preferable that they didn't happen at all) serve to remind the population at large that we are not all twats.

I'm a long way from pitchside at the lane, but I know that if something like this happened at our ground, our fans would be just as alert and vociferous in attracting attention to it as the Reading fans were last night. As would fans at every single ground in the world.

Fair enough, good to hear it wasn't loud in the stadium. The mics for Sky pick up all sorts, and definately heard that when Billy was subbed on
