I think he was trying to win the game, bringing on Godden who’s been doing well. However it freed up so much room for us that it backfired completely.

MGW kept give the ball away in my opinion. Didnt keep things simple when he neded to. Stevens was trued to get forward and was always an option for Didzy and Fleck

You missed out the words: ".............of the second half" from that sentence, and "best" should read "only". I suppose the last "half" should then read "quarter" ?

Coincidentally.. Jnr did his first shift as a steward, paid to watch (as well as doing his job), able to wave to his mate in away end and saw (as he’s a goalkeeper) two keepers have a good game. Lots of positives there, for him at least.

I think the only thing I recall MGW doing obviously wrong was cutting onto his right foot when down the right channel straight onto double coverage, instead of his left where he could have got a shot away. He did recover and it resulted into one of the McGoldrick misses, but it seemed like bad decision making
