It's bollox to say he's too old and waste of a wage because surgery can be necessary for players of any age. Brooksy is 24 I believe and he's had a few ops.

The image I've got about Slav and Guedioura through the screen neither of them seem that kind of fellows who would sign mate just for free surgery. Could think that kind of situation/injury would had been exposed in medical or something.

I think Slav was. I suspect that the board wanted to sell Berge before allowing money to be spent. This would explain the panic signings.

So who the hell checked on this blokes fitness didn't he train with us for a while just to prove he was fit before we signed him? Our medical team have certainly not covered themselves in glory over the last few seasons. We got Moose always injured and can't do 90mins, Berge always injured, Fleck never seems to have got over the back problem he picked up, JOC not sure his injury was managed correctly. I know when we got to the Premier league we were very fortunate not to have many injuries but since then it has been one thing after another for quite a few of our players and as a whole the team certainly don't look half as fit as they were pre lockdown. Time to take a long hard look at our medical staff me thinks.

Our recruitment upto and including the season we got promoted to PL was excellent but ever since has been shit.
