Did anyone know that we had already been drawn away this morning? Only issue was which seeded team we'd be travelling to? Very strange and confusing draw on TV imo.
Good draw from a financial point of view. Last year in the second round they beat Hudds 5-1 at home with 28,901.
And the time before that when they were at home in the league cup nearly 28,000 watched them against Luton (2006/7).
So 28,000 x average of £20 = £560,000 divided by 2 = £280k each! Surely that can fund McDonald???

This also means we'll play fi
Anyone know how that draw worked???? I see Scunny got Newcastle at home??
i would say Everton's priotery this seasonn is to be qualifying for Europe....
Tickets for United's Carling Cup second round tie at Everton go on sale to season ticket holders on Saturday from 12noon.
The Blades were drawn against the Premiership Toffees in Thursday night's draw. The match will be played at Goodison Park on Wednesday 24 August with an 8pm kick-off.
Prices for the game are £16 Adults, £12 Seniors and £8 Juniors.
A 20% discount has also been secured for season ticket holders with tickets only £13 Adults, £10 Seniors and £6.50 Juniors.
Six wheelchair tickets and ambulant disabled tickets are available at the normal adult match ticket price with carers tickets free of charge.
3,000 tickets will initially be available with the option to take up to another 2,800.
Due to the short amount of time available to sell tickets, loyalty points will not be used and the Club are keen to make tickets available to fans as soon as possible.
Tickets will therefore be on sale in person to members (including season ticket holders) from 12 noon until 2pm on Saturday and then again at full time after the game.
Between 2pm and kick off fans will only be able to buy tickets for the Brentford game and are advised not to try and purchase other games due to the anticipated queues.
Tickets will still be on sale to members only on Monday (15th August) with General Sale following on Tuesday (16th August).
So Who's heading to Goodison then?
Do we have many travelling from here?
Foxy and I will be there and I think he bought tickets for another car-load.
I know some people who can't go because of it being midweek.
Well I'm going too!!
So if you establish a venue for pre match entertainment let me know and I'll see you all there.
Its been a while!
