Might work, but might not.
Like all decisions by managers they can be ruined by players not performing on the day or made into flashes of brilliance by having a revelation !!

Berge is fit we should play him and Hourihane in midfield getting rid of

one trick pony Norwood

give the ball away Fleck
Thoughts?
Absolutely, I think individually Norwood and Fleck do bring something to the team. But playing them together doesn’t really work anymore. Yes they raised their game when MGW and N’diaye came into the side. But collectively they are far too inconsistent to drive this team forward and dictate the play.

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or, being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
Or, being hated, don’t give way to hating,
And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise;

If you can dream—and not make dreams your master;
If you can think—and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with triumph and disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to broken,
And stoop and build ’em up with wornout tools;

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: “Hold on”;

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings—nor lose the common touch;
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you;
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run—
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And—which is more—you’ll be a Blade, my son!

The whole club is geared to a "Lack of entertainment, style, creativity and ability"

No player can play for us and have these attributes, even if they had them before they arrived.

Same with managers

Our next run of decency will be in 15 years when a Sheffield United fan becomes manager and manages to bully and by some miracle get the best out of the useless pricks he's got on the pitch

personally i wouldnt play norwood and fleck together again its obviously not working with those 2 in midfield weve other options now especially when berge comes back in

And after writing this he made exceedingly good cakes as well

Give it a rest ffs

Picking Norwood and Fleck against gritty, or stronger sides does not inspire confidence in our defence or attack. It needs players with greater strength and presence.
Hourihane. Guediora and Berge, with one of those on the bench would stiffen our midfield and bring more confidence to the team behind and in front of them

Why did he sign Guediora IF he wasn't going to play him in matches where he's obviously needed ?

Anyone else reading this with a Sean Bean voice whilst waving the bread knife? Just me again then.

Why did he sign Guediora IF he wasn't going to play him in matches where he's obviously needed ?
He's 36 and he's been out of real, competitive football for a while. He's a bit part player.

This is like the Besic thing. A couple of tackles and he should be starting every week. Besic played less than 250 minutes of league games for United. I'm not sure Guediora is going to be too different

Ahhhh wow !!!
Did we win the Third Division title once, in the eleven attempts we've had at it
So you didn't see style, creativity or ability? You weren't entertained?
