I dont get this 3000 to qpr joke ? It makes us look proper tin pot. I went to millwall day after with less than a 1000 blades. We can take piss out of them cunts with alot of things but the away support aint 1. Id rather us keep our gobs shut on that front tbh UTFB FTP

We took 3k to QPR when we were in League One.
 
didnt go myself but does seem strange with 21k season ticket holders we cant sell out at middlesbro 🤔

Ffs ive watched blades home n away and been in lots of shit over years doing it if you knew me or any of my mates from 70s 80s youd understand how much i hate em but all this bollox reminding em they took 3k to qpr when we cant sell another london club day after on a fucking saturday is ridiclous
 
Our support is fantastic, particularly considering the utter shite of last season. We have the best average home attendance in the Championship - something the pigs haven’t managed for years. That’s far more noteworthy than not selling a couple of hundred tickets for Boro on a Tue night.

But, many people who go to Away Matches also work (not me, I'll grant you). And many people who go to Away Matches also have a life away from football (not me, I'll grant you).

How do you manage to find time for Home matches?

It’s quite easy, I go after work in week days and I put in the calendar for the Saturdays which ones are for football. My issue is the insinuation that having a season ticket somehow means people should also be attending away matches? Is it not down to the individuals on what matches to attend?

It just winds me up when people are questioning why we don’t sell tickets etc, people go to the matches they want/can.

I truly come in peace. Anyone can do what they want for me. But, I felt your post insinuated that people who go to Away Matches don't work & don't have a life. I'm not sure you wanted that insinuation either.

You're right, I did word it badly. I definitely didn't mean it to come across like that (though I accept it's how it looks now I've gone back to it). Apologies for that

Somewhere, there were a 1000 or maybe more Sheffield United fans that wanted to go last night but couldn't get tickets because of the clubs lack of common sense in selling tickets quickly.

Those with 50,000 points don't buy tickets until their Dad, Brother, Uncle, Mates, or dog with only 40,000 points can buy tickets
Those with only 40,000 points can't let their mates with 50,000 points know if they are going or not because they are waiting for a friend who only has 30,000 points.

And the reciprocal arrangement continues all the way down the scale. Tickets get left unsold until the last possible second, meaning no more tickets or increased allocation will ever arrive.

The only way to solve the problem is to set the bar for getting tickets at 25,000 or whatever and sell the fuckers.
If somebody with 50,000 misses out because he's pissing about, well then it's their own fault. But at least a second allocation has time to arrive.
 
Some of us are simply scrubbers and cant afford it, Stegosorearse i'm looking in your direction mate

As has been mentioned above, if there was a cut off point of 25,000 loyalty points and a free for for all, our away tickets would get snapped up immediately, then further allocations would arrive.
The way it is now, by the time everybody with the higher number of loyalty points has pissed about waiting for those with less loyalty points to be able to buy a ticket the match is almost upon us

We've regularly sold out when we play at QPR. Millwall league games under Wilder we had 1800 there. Last night's game was on Sky wasn't it? I imagine that had some impact along with the train situation and the club's obstructive ticketing policy. Around 300 unsold tickets.
