Where we all suppin? Weatherspoons?

Went in Parkers opposite the ground last time and will probably do the same again given we are car based. Despite their supposed hatred of us and warnings that pubs round the ground are home fans only there were loads of Blades in (many in colours) without any issues. Beer selection nothing to write home about though.

Best pubs in Hull tend to be over the other side of the city centre in opposite direction to the KC.

Yeah I live in Hull, I think you’re thinking of Old Town

I dont think they give a fuck about us tbh. Its leeds who they hate. Nobody really gives a fuck about us except our massive pig neighbours

Yes, quite nice round there now they've done it up. I've always liked Hull as a place and it gets unfairly maligned.
My son has lived in Hull for the last 7yrs or so.

Love the old town and especially the Lion and Key which does good food and great beers.

Also a huge fan of the fruit Market trinity Market the Marina and my number one destination is Leonardo's on the Marina.

P.S I still have 2 spare tickets for Saturday if anyone wants to sample any of these delights 😉

I think Hull are just another club in a long line of over exaggerated rivalries, that are artificially built up, to try and make the games more attractive. We don’t really give a fuck about other Yorkshire clubs. With obvious exception of our porcine friends. But I’ve always though games with Scabs were every bit as salty as our encounters with those lovely Seatsmashers.

I consider Forest much more of a grudge fixture than anything else. Tomorrow? Hull? Meh.

Parkers is no more....Closed...Best pubs in old town if you've got the time...about 25 minutes fast paced walk. Give or take.

Still available?

Great atmosphere last time, during the promotion season, looks like even more of us there tomorrow, so should be even better (in theory).

What I remember about last time, was the non-stop singing, and I really mean non-stop. That plus the win, of course.

Driving back out of Hull, I turned to Mrs G and said, "I think this is it, I really think we are going up!", same feeling as I had when we were driving away from Peterborough in our last season in League One (big James Hanson headed across goal, Billy nodded home, cue scenes from Blades fans).

That evening, we called in for a few drinks on our way home, and Simon Moore and his girlfriend were walking past, with George Long and his girlfriend. Keeping in mind that George had just let three in, to the Blades, he was in great spirits, with all four of them laughing and joking. I couldn't help but raise a glass to George, at that point.

Me and my old man were absolutely battered loving it. I just remember being smashed starting chants every 5 mins. It’s a good memory is that

‘Admiral of the Humber’ on Carr Lane, city centre Wetherspoons will be open first, bearing in mind its a 1230 ko, that’s got to be the place to go for pre match drinking?
Then 20mins walk to the ground, straight up Anlaby Road, right on Argyle Street next to the hospital over the railway bridge then first left and over the footbridge straight to the away end.
Particularly good itinerary for any rail commuters!
