Can't wait for Preston

It will be a sterner test, as Preston are a much more savvy team than Posh, and I expect a lot of shit housing by them tomorrow.

Still think we'll win though. Confidence will be sky high amongst the players now.

After that lovely performance I feel like Sheffield United are back it might be premature but I certainly didn't expect 6 goals wether it be Peterborough or Chelsea,I'm actually expecting us to win.
After watching the re-runs and highlight of the Peterborough game about 58 times...Think I’m ready for Preston now.

Just hope it’s not one of those “after the Lord Mayors show” type of performances. If we can maintain the same levels we’ll win a damn sight more games than we lose.

A lot of our fans should have their mojo back after seeing for the 1st time........... Slavball

It's exciting stuff, but Preston and Hull are probably the best benchmark games we could have to see if it's a flash in the pan (as Peterborough were poor) or whether we CAN become the real deal this season.

Teams who get promoted grow into a season - we did it when we got out last time. CW wanted to be top six at Xmas then push on and have a go 2nd half of the season, which we did admirably, losing only 2.

Slav has history of doing similar - his Fulham team that went up, didn't really kick off while November and started to show their true potential when they did us 4-5 at the Lane on November 21st.

We've still time to pick up this season - the first 5 games were in effect our pre-season games that we never had.

So: 6 points v Preston and Hull and this forum will go into overdrive.

Gonna be very exciting if we are around the top 6 in January, justification for some serious spending for a promotion push. Vieira + 2x Wingers/CAM's and we could fly up

They were 17th in November, 25 points behind Cardiff who went up
They eventually finished 2 points behind em

0-1 nailed on

Huff and puff for twenty minutes. Fifteen minutes of trying to work it across the back and up the channels. Go behind from a breakaway goal, then rinse and repeat for the second half with Burke and Sharp on and hardly touching the ball as Norwood drifts another floaty pass across the park

Or maybe not ...

Let's wait until we play a well organised side. That will be the test of what we can or cannot achieve.

Best be pragmatic until we've played ten or so games (no injuries of course) and then we can see whether this new spirit of 'they don't like it up 'em' is a genuine change of style or just a one off.

I think this game will be tougher than some are thinking.
Had a quick look on their form and they seem really happy with their midfield saying its a very strong midfield.
Let's not get carried away its was a great result on Saturday but I don't think Peterborough are a strong side.
I think the next two games will give us an indication if we are moving in the right direction.
