That's pretty facetious so gonna ignore it. What I will say is good managers give good players some license to express themselves on the pitch.

I agree they do, the problem with that is confidence, self confidence. Its the difference between making a pass, putting a cross in and if the intended target doesn't get it, misses it, balloons it over the bar,, its the self confidence to call him out for it, and say, I did my bit! No one is doing that, everyone is hiding, choosing an easy pass, easy way out

Maybe its just playing with the expectations, that for the majority of the journey they didn't have.
