I don’t know whether I’m coming or going at the best of times (& neither does AR?) but wasn’t the Farsenal ‘plan’ about signing Ramsdale for next season & fucking Leno off then.
What does the ‘additional’ home grown body give this season beyond the cups ( when they tend to play (home grown) bairns any road?

I'm genuinely not trying to smear his name. I've stated, quite clearly, that I think he wants the move... and I don't blame him. I can't think of a single good reason why he wouldn't.
I'm also of the belief that agents / buying clubs etc. gauge interest from players before progressing with bids / feeding stories into newspapers etc. I think this is just the way of the modern football transfer.

I think you're massively misinterpreting the intent behind what I'm saying, you're just ultra-defensive over your mate (or whatever he is to you) & looking for an argument. Fair play for, in your mind, sticking up for him. But I don't think it's required here.

A young lad wants to move to a bigger club, playing at a higher level, for more money, in front of more fans, in the Capital. Wouldn't be the first, or last. Fair fucks. Good luck to him. We need the money for other things in the short term and everyone's a winner hopefully.

Having dealt with, managed, interviewed and been involved in a small way with recruiting people at work, I can imagine the complexity and issues with agents other clubs, players and their advisors or families is even more complex.
Perhaps you can tell me otherwise, based on your vast experience of signing professional players for football league clubs

Seeing as Slav appears to play and wants to play with wingers and we have 0 at present because neither Burke nor Mousset can be relied upon then we most definitely need 2 wingers, I think the whole Play Brewster on the wing is a bit of a tactic if you ask me. as in look your making me play our mist valued asset on the wing, in the same vein as ploughing a field with a Lamborghini

You have asked a question that I can't answer because I don't know what's going on, I have no idea if we will sign 1 or 10. What I believe is irrelevant it has no effect or bearing on who the club may or may not sign, my belief is therefore unimportant, it cannot change or influence the clubs recruitment

I'm pretty sure we'll end up with 3 or 4 additional incomings, taking total to the 4 /5, as has been the aim by the end of the transfer window. I'd rather get the right players in, than rush and get the wrong ones, obviously it's not that simple, but the principle is right.

Think we'll end up seeing a new GK, a Vieira alternative, Garner and one creative / winger type.

We've been linked with a fair few, and clearly Ramsdales sale will have some impact on onward recruitment.

Business generally happens faster towards the end of the window, there's little incentive for clubs to sell early.

yes could be right there but for me brewster has to be the centre of the front 3 the real problem here is that the players weve got are geared up for 352 and its obvious slav doesnt want to play this system so new recruits have to come in
