For Ramsdale tomorrow. Or will he play. If we truly are not panicking that he might STAY, then obviously he plays.

Beattie flu is covered under the pfizer jab

If he wants to move and doesn't I just hope he doesn't go the full Lundstrum and set up a deck chair in his box wearing a knotted hanky on his head whilst browsing through an old copy of Gardner's Weekly.
To be honest, putting up a deck chair and then turning the pages of a magazine, would have been beyond Lundstroms, ability and the effort required might be the reason he had to stroll through games, sorry gaffa knackered after 5 attempts to put up the deck chair, would you mind reading the article to me,,,then explain why a plant moves quicker than me,,

Sorry, I should have said "pointing at someone else putting up a deckchair."

It could also be just a precaution if Ramsdale has had a knock, or maybe even for a second look at Verrips....

Though I have to say I'm a little concerned about why Verrips has taken so long to come out of the woodwork, he may indeed be a very good goal keeper but is he another Mousset ?.......

Wilder never gave him a chance that's why he went on loan.Had a really good 2nd half to season.
Really disappointed me the way Wilder wouldnt entertain him at all.
It's obvious where this was leading and it happened in March.
We will never no why Wilder was so against him and help from european scouts .

When we got him I think we were playing it safe because UEFA were involved because his previous club complained about him and threatened us due to his breach of contract claim against them which allowed the move. We ended up paying compensation, then there were a few knocks and then when he finally played in the cup Kean Bryan sat on his head and we had to put Henderson on.

Had a good loan though and was fairly well regarded before we signed him so he should be alright in the championship, but I'd prefer if we had a senior keeper proven in our league.

He's a good lad, he'll play to his best regardless.

But so far he doesn't have 'a slight injury in training'. BUT there is time

I rekon he starts, has a big smile on his face. Try’s his best and walks off of pitch applauding fans. Back in training on Monday (not Sunday as we’ve won and kept a clean sheet). Boring real world init

I thought Slavisa said he was expecting Ramsdale to play tomorrow.

I know what you mean. Personally i think Ramsdale will be far more professional than Lunstram was with his performances and commitment if hes forced to come back and review any transfer in January.

I think if Ramsdale really wanted out then he'd already be gone. Lundstram we'd offered a deal to and no one wanted him until he was free. Ramsdale would have no end of offers that, even if not as high as we wanted, would be satisfactory after a bit of negotiating. Managers tend not to want players who don't want to be around anyway. Lundstram was something of an exception because we had little option and his replacement was injured.

Still possible someone will make an offer that either the club or Ramsdale feel they can't turn down but I assume that hasn't happened yet and both are setting the bar high on offers that would tempt them.

The fact no club came in with even a low bid during his final season with us says everything. The fact that Ramsdale's proposed move is far bigger than Lundstram's in every way (wages, price tag, club involved) makes Lunny's strop even more laughable 😆

His best bet is to try and keep a few clean sheets, not his strong point

So if Ramsdale goes to Arsenal, would he hold the record for a keeper being relegated from the premier 3 times in 3 years with different clubs?

Talking of clean sheets, funny story.

It's a little known fact that I once trod the boards you know? When I say once it was in fact only once when I was cast as a shepherd in the nativity at primary school. I only had one line -"look at yonder star" which for the record I absolutely nailed.

However, I was supposed to bring a bed sheet to use as a shepherds cloak but forgot. Long story short my teacher found a new use for a shepherd's crook.

Anyway, then....Blade56 are you still there? Blade56....?
