If I’m going to guess and it is just a guess I’d imagine it’s a couple of things Chelsea either have contacts in Italy they trust to do the medical there or have flown staff over to do it and they can probably afford to have him flown over on a private jet so he could isolate before coming. Don’t imagine we can afford to do either tbh.

Romelu Lukaku has arrived in London to complete his £97.5m (€115m) transfer to Chelsea from Inter Milan.

The 28-year-old landed in Biggin Hill Airport on Wednesday evening after a stop in Monte Carlo.

He underwent the first part of his medical in Milan after Chelsea agreed in principle a club-record deal to re-sign the striker.
