Maybe not.But Atleast we haven’t dropped our knickers at the first offer.Unlike time gone by.It won’t fall through.

How could you not have got Dreams or The Chain in there? It's just second hand news. You can go your own way but I'm never going back again.
I'm not greedy. Left the easy ones alone in case someone else wanted a go.How could you not have got Dreams or The Chain in there?
No one is gonna take em mate , they are worth fuck all compared to our purchase valuations + current wages. If Burke only possessed a football brain he’d actually be ok
Shame but for me both Burke and Moose should be moved on if any club would take them
Yes, I know Moose can be decent but he’s no use to this club if he’s forever on the treatment table
I’m no detective, but if this true it hardly depicts the actions of a club that are dependent on sales to fund transfers…
Dunno why you're laughing mate - maybe you're confused about how footballers develop or fade over time. We couldn't pay the wages required for Wilders targets Matty Cash & the Brentford striker (went to Villa) & Antonee Thingy (Fulham) so we missed out.You do make me laugh some of you guys when we don't sign anyone it is because we pay crap wages, when we want to move some on nobody wants them because they won't pay them what Sheffield United do.![]()

Those who cling to Rammers , Berge & Baldock are effectively clinging to the prospect of depriving our new manager of any chance to repair the acute deficiencies in our squad - a great big JoC hole in defence - a midfield that is so ponderous , lacking creativity & aggressivity (SJ) & can't take a decent set-piece.Hope this positive news isnt used as an excuse for us not to bring in the NECESSARY CB, Midfielders and Wide players.![]()
Yep they were never going to get any bargains this summer after josh kroenke came out and said they had 250 million to spend this summer can’t cry poverty when that’s the case.It is not like they don't have the cash either. They just don't want to cough it all up at once and want us to jump through hoops for the rest of it.
I’m taking nothing away from you and it changes nothing, this is the best post out of all 57 pages.edit
We have only 3 senior players that anyone would buy for the kind of money we need to improve the squad - Rammers , Berge & BaldockSo why does that mean Berge is going didn't know we only had 2 players at club
Apparently SJ's strength is to be better in the market place than Wilder (well , we could all be that) and be capable of building a team that can actually move forward (with the ball , Burkey Boy) faster than a snail on heroin.
We also have Coulibaly which we rejected a rather sizeable offer from AC Milan. If we need to sell to buy we sure are rejecting alot of offers. We have only 3 senior players that anyone would buy for the kind of money we need to improve the squad - Rammers , Berge & Baldock
If that's true , we're fucked.Since when? He's had little to no say at previous clubs for transfers. That's always been very clear since he joined.
He has tactical help on the training ground (like Wilder heavily did with Knill) , but thats not to say his match day skills are deficient.
We certainly didn't bring him in for his transfer skills!
…..so we don’t need to sell before we can buy? I didn’t think that would be the case.Arsenal have officially withdrawn their latest offer for Ramsdale. Ramsdale is staying put. Heard, but not sure how accurate, Ramsdale didnt want to be a benchwarmer which is why Arsenal pulled out. No Berge offers are on the table yet either. Blades have valuations which they are sticking to ! Still got until end of the month to keep hold of both. Burke is being shopped around. Viera is awaiting a medical. Seems to be awaiting completion before confirmation. Basically Blades have dissuaded both Arsenal and Everton in signing our players, we are holding firm, its the loans that are seemingly hard to complete. This is all moving quite fast now.
I thought you said the Ramsdale deal was agreed?Arsenal have officially withdrawn their latest offer for Ramsdale. Ramsdale is staying put. Berge will do playing this systemDon't be so negative , Berge does not affect the outcome of our games , despite his manifest quality - both he & we would benefit from him moving on - we'd get the cash to replace Norwood & Fleck as starters with some to younger legs & forward motion.
This is assuming the Ramsdale sale gets us the cash to buy a decent physically dominant CB to replace JoC
It shows nobody knows anything. Things change extremely quickly. At least Glyn Hodges left foot passes on what he’s heard to us. No ego attached just updates which we all like to hear whether true or false, sunjihi on the other hand…..I thought you said the Ramsdale deal was agreed?
Agreed, valuation was apparenty met,Wasn’t signed though. Personal terms was the reason. Didnt wanna be 2nd choice. A classic case of agreed but not signed. Meaning Arsenal,Blades or Ramsdale can pull out. Nobody wanted him to leave, he didn’t wanna go. Case closed on that one then.I thought you said the Ramsdale deal was agreed?
