Especially when they're targeting a homegrown GK. There aren't many options able to cut it at Prem level - Johnstone and Woodman but they'd likely to be around the same price.

It is not like they don't have the cash either. They just don't want to cough it all up at once and want us to jump through hoops for the rest of it.
