Bit strange (if true) that the board have trawlled through everything that needs to be done to sign a player to, at the final hurdle, turn aroumd and say we need to sell a player first (especially when the player to be sold is the same player we've supposedly been knocking back bids for the most of this past month or so). If this is true all the board have done is alert other clubs to the player we're supposedly after. Very fuckin strange situation imo but, sadly, very Sheffield United ☹
