Ramsdale probably gone to Arsenal by then. Agree with Viera Berge Freeman midfield. Norwood Fleck have had chance after chance. The magic isn't coming back. I would play with two up front not three. Maybe rest McGoldrick. His best role now may be coming on as an impact sub. It might be better to send Brewster instead of Jebbison out on loan.

The major problem is service to the strikers. Two target men upfront Jebbison and McBurnie, Berge, Freeman, Vieira in midfield and play Bash in a 3 centre back formation with Osborn and Bogle on the flanks.

He’s our best player but didzy might be part of the problem now, for 2 years the midfield has sunk further and further back because of him trying to do everything. To move forward we’ve got to stop relying on him

Just play a team/system that lets Berge carry the ball forward, and for christ's sake sign a new LCB before hand.

Viera and a creative mid would also be very welcome in the meantime.

I sorry, but until we get better, more intelligent players in. We simply can’t play this formation in this new system. We are asking sheep to bark like dogs.

Seems glaringly obvious to me, but we can’t put a good team out in that system with the players we have. We need to sell our Crown Jewels and rebuild. The unfortunate news is we only have 3 weeks to do that in. The good news is that by that point it won’t be too late to start the season.

Even with the new signings, I don't think we have the midfielders to support a back 4, so I think we stick with the 3 for a little while longer.

i'd also be surprised if we see all of the new lads start, so can see MGW on the bench initially, unless Didzy is still injured, as we'll need at least 2 creative players on the pitch.

Absolutely spot on, with sharp over mcburnie for me. Just wish we had a defensive midfielder to really push berge to perform. Maybe guedioura signs at some point

We can’t go 4 at the back without a sitting midfielder we will Just get over run. Basham offers that cover perfectly. Gives freed to Berge and CH away we go

A little bit experimental, but this means we keep a back 5 while going for it a bit more, easily transitioning to a 3-4-3 in attack, or even a 5-4-1 in defence. Brewster playing a deep lying didzy role or even just play didzy there with Brewster or Mousset off the left wing
