If he isn’t able to play, the announcement doesn’t mean anything anyway. What I suppose it does do is give the players a boost to be brought out for the kind of reception they’re going to get from 30,000 up for it Blades.

Agree - not to spit the dummy but how have we had the entire summer and so far been unable to even complete a single loan signing.

Combine that with a basically non existent preseason and a slow start wouldn’t be unexpectedly.

Calm down yer great bunch of fannies. We knew we were going to be mainly in the loan market, and for the better loan players deals are done late.
Worst case is we play Birmingham with the side that beat Burnley last time out, but we also have Billy, Berge and RND to consider.
