well spotted silent thought it might be you who spotted my deliberate mistake lol like i said think birmingham will sell out so it has to be 26/27k on saturdayThis season we have 21K season ticket holders. We didnt have any last season because there werent any season tickets for sale!![]()
Virtually all BL upper availableNot many tickets left at the moment, and I'm struggling to login in to the website so I'm guessing the rest will be gone soon.
Yeah fair point, I ignored thatVirtually all BL upper available
From BFC twitter feed:
We have now 𝐒𝐎𝐋𝐃 𝐎𝐔𝐓 our full allocation of 2,570 tickets for Saturday's @SkyBetChamp season opener.
See you at the weekend, Bluenoses!https://t.co/Ihipyy9fnD
Should be a cracking atmosphere. UTB!
2,570 of them to be exact. Can’t see many Brummies coming up for an 8pm KO on Saturday night when it’s on telly. 24,767
yes you jumped the gun there also now think it will be 27k plusOops, just seen the Brum sold out post. So 27,200 from me.
Worth adding that as a club, we always seem to have a late surge of sales. I think our fans are just blase about buying match day tickets.
I think it's because, apart from our last two stints in the Premier League and the promotion pushes, tickets have always been easy to come by. If we'd had a sustained spell in the top flight where it's a sell out most games, that attitude would be different.Very true….then it’s those same fans complaining why its only restricted view tickets left or they can’t buy tickets together to sit with their mates.
Then they’ll criticise the ticketing policy and say they’d love to attend but have been forced to watch it in the pub.
I think 21k ST (assume they are counted even if a few thousand are on holiday or decide not to go due to personal choice or are self isolating) + 2.2k Brum + maybe 1-1.5k walk up (not sure at the prices match by match there will be that many pay in the day and this is on Sky and a crap KO time).
So 24,556
I'm not sure we will top 26-27k much this season as there are only a handful of away teams that will bring over 1.5-2k away & not sure there will be big numbers in walk up.
It will probably be 5k down from Prem crowds.
Of course if we really do well that may change
I wave like the queen at that part.I can’t wait for everyone to clap, when the attendance is announced. Missed that bit of games where everyone claps themselves for going.
This was going to be my guess.28,458
