God I hope the piggy bastard reads these pages. Fuck off nobody wants you here.

Don't know about the boot, but boo should be the 1st time the Blades fans set eyes on him. Can just imagine him having a crafty chuckle when the pigs beat us 6-0 and he fielded the weakest team he could.

He won't last that long...

How about he retires in 2020 when he turns 60, having taken SUFC from League One to being Premier League mainstays.

I have used the futurenet to copy and paste an article from The Star circa 2020....

Today, sees the retirement of Sheffield United legend Danny Wilson after a glorious 9-year reign at Bramall Lane.

Wilson's Blades were much loved throughout the country for their pretty football and their ability to successfully integrate homegrown talent into the side.

Veteran Chairman Kevin McCabe marked the retirement of Blades legend DW with the unveiling of a bronze statue outside the main stand. Additional security has been installed to avoid the statue being vandalised by bitter Owls fans. Supporters of the Conference side still havent come to terms with the success DW has had during his decade at the Lane.

you two been drinking?

How about a more realistic one of Wilson sacked after losing 4-0 at Hillsborough. The last straw came when all the wendy fans were heard singing "Theres only one Danny Wilson"

This appointment should not be happening. If he is the BEST candidate for the job given his history god help us.

How about we do something radical and give him a chance. Judge him on results and what he does for Sheffield United.

Alternatively, you could storm the Press Conference, drag him on to the pitch and hang him on the goalposts for crimes he hasnt yet committed!!!!!

I really dont think I am the one who needs to sober up!!!!

Fuck that, I'm not getting attached to a manager who'll be sacked by 12.01pm tomorrow

I hope I'm wrong but I can only see this going the same way as Robson maybe sooner though. This is not the appointment to unite us.

He's not going to fire him. Ever.

This decision has his signature all over it.

A lot are saying that it took balls to sign Wilson. No, it didn't. It took pig-headedness and a stubborn streak a mile wide. The same characteristics that will ensure Mr McCabe continues to back his own judgement and that Wilson is with us for a very long and bloody time indeed.

Has McCabe gone senile or just drunk his way through a load of cans left behind by Robbo? Keeping Adams would have been infinately preferable than taking on washed up piggy bastard Wilson.

Another poll... how long before McCabe McFires him?

Oh deary me Swiss - you really are losing the plot on this one fella! Rise above the hypocrites and part-timers - accept where we are and deal with it. Wilson and Morgan/Pembo or Adams and Cork/Bassett? No brainer for me, Danny boy everytime.

Of those two options that would be my preferred option too.

But since McCabe had allegedly 50 candidates express their interest, or you sure Danny boy would have been the best out of all of them?

I'm with you HB, this problem with Wilson because of his Wendy links is without merit.

But yet again a huge opportunity has been missed, and I'm not talking about not appointing RdM either. I just hope I'm proven wrong and Wilson takes the league by storm playing champaign football, anything else and he'll be hounded out before the new year.
It was going to be an near impossible job to get us promotion this season, but Wilsons now got to do it.

No, but cash is the deciding factor. That aint Wilson's fault. A few of these candidates will have wanted big wedge in wages and transfers or guarantees which cannot be made if McCabe's pockets are well and truly empty or shut.

Tue of course Mic, but i find it difficult to believe that Wilson was the best candidate that was willing to accept the job.

How did I know that you'd be happy with this appointment. Deary me.

I aint over the moon obviously but it's caused chaos amongst you clappers and it's very, very amusing to see all this about 3 or 4 years too late.

Main source of amusement is your belief that Adams was deserving of another chance.

Well Mic, you asked for Micky's head and it looks like Wilson is what you're going to end up with. Good luck with that. I presume that it'll be the standard 1 month settling in period before you call for his head again.

So just for the record. Do you actually want Wilson as manager?

I'm just asking as you always stood by your comment of "I never wanted Micky" so you could justify jumping in quickly with your Micky out comments.

No, of course I don't want Wilson as manager.

Not got a clue what you are on about with your Adams comments above. I always wanted SOD, always said Adams was a dinasour and wanted him removed afrer a disgraceful set of results.

So you don't want Wilson, but you're happy to laugh at people that also don't...

You know very well what I'm on about over Adams. You've got Wilson to focus on now, so perhaps we'll see eye to eye on the criticisms.

No, too cryptic for me. I thought you were suggesting I was inconsistent or covering my tracks with Adams. I said he was rubbish, backward, long-ball etc etc from day one and I think I was right. His record left McCabe with no option.

I'm just glad he's gone. If it's Wilson so be it - if we don't play attractive football I'll be with you 100% but you've gone way over the top and if he does do OK virtually nobody on here will have any credibility left.

Mic, sorry but its about getting the right man. Not the right man at the right price. I wasn't asking for Mourinho, but I was hoping for someone with a decent track record of success of some kind. Not someone who's been left on the pile.

I've already said that this is a massive gamble, so if he does ok, I've got my arse covered.

It doesn't mean that i'll ever accept him as the right man.

I think this talk is all irrelevant though. He'll be fired within 4 months and we'll all be happy with that, just not where he takes us.
